I know many people struggle with feeling like they don’t do enough in the self ship community and feeling like they should be more interactive, and honestly, these people deserve to know how valid they are. No one should ever feel forced/obligated to do these things. This community is about love and comfort, after all. Some people interact more while others are more to themselves and honestly, both ways are completely fine!! As long as we’re having fun, that should be what counts most. If we felt obligated to interact even though we don’t have the energy to, it’ll take the fun away and just cause stress. No one deserves to feel that way. If someone was forcing someone else to do that, well.. that would just be very wrong and disrespectful.
I’ve faced this a lot because I’m a very shy person and I’m not good at interacting with people I don’t know well. I always remind myself that it’s okay. I’m doing the best I can and that’s what matters most. I want you guys to know that you’re totally valid. You have the freedom to have fun and enjoy the community as you wish. Just as long as you’re not causing anyone harm, then you’re all good!
