George [on the phone]: I literally saw you across the street two minutes ago. Why haven't you arrived at the restaurant yet?

Lando [sounding slightly out of breath]: There was a clown there. Also you're on speakerphone.

George: Excuse me, what?

Pierre [from next to Lando]: A clown, George! There was a clown at the corner of the street. So we're taking a detour.

George: Again, what?!

Lance [jogging with them]: clowns are scary man.

*meanwhile Alex, Charles & Esteban are sitting in the restuarant with George looking exasperated*

Alex [leaning over George's shoulder to speak into the phone]: It's just a clown guys.

Lando: Just a clo--- I'll have you know those painted freaks are dangerous!

Charles: So you decided to run around the block rather than get past a single clown?

Pierre: We are getting past him!

Lance: It's just taking a bit longer.

Esteban:......

Esteban: I'm gonna tell them.

George: Don't---

Esteban [shouting loudly into the phone]: There is another clown inside the restaurant!

Lando: What!

Pierre: What?!

Lance: WhAT!!!

Alex [sighing]: Great, now they'll never arrive.

School Festival

It had been a tiring few weeks preparing the school for the sort of festival event they were having. A lot of schools had one at least some point during the year. Students could set up booths, sell things, recruit to their clubs, and other such things. Sometimes there was even entertainment, such as a band hired to play a show during the festival. As the swim team captain, Hikaru had to do a lot of prep for his own club, as well as helping organize and coordinate with the other sports team captains. But it was all done. And the first day of the festival was here.

It was busy already, and Hikaru was standing around, helping point people in the right directions, dressed in casual wear for the time being. Most people knew there was going to be a band playing, however they did not know Hikaru was in that band, so he planned to slip away at some point to go change before the show. For now, he was dressed like he usually was, comfortable and casual, since there wasn’t a dress code today. But he was waiting for someone to show up, and scanning the faces of those who walked by, waiting to spot them.
