Happy September studies!
I won't join this year as my arm tendons and wrist&fingers joints have been hurting nearly non-stop for months now, so all non-work related art is temporarily banned for me, or I won't even be able to hold my phone :')
(yes I am currently trying to figure out precisely what the issue is, and I am waiting on that book to prevent artist injuries to arrive, I am hoping I can join at least a tiny bit of chilltobember)
Remember to tag your work with #septemberstudies
and have fun!

SEPTEMBER STUDIES 📝
This is not an art challenge, but more of a chance to do some art studies together and find motivation to work on our crafts before autumn and winter hit with the big art/writing challenges and events.
The prompts are thought for visual arts, but writing will also be more than welcomed.
The goal is to dedicate some time to studies. Whether you want to improve a specific skill, or branch out to another one, or refresh something you neglected, feel free to join for this month-long event to work on technical aspects of your craft.
---------------------------------------------------
How does the event work?
The prompts are divided per different topics and journeys to cater to specific skills.
You can work on one prompt for the whole week, or just do one work on it.
Incomplete and rough works are also welcome. WIPs are welcome. The goal is just to think more about technic skills as opposed to creating a fully finished piece.
🟢easy mode: pick one prompt per week. You can follow one path for the whole month, or pick a prompt from a different path each week.
🟡standard mode: pick one prompt and work on it two or three times a week, or do two or three prompts per week.
🔴proud mode: pick one prompt per path for each day and do one prompt a day.
disclaimer - there is no moral superiority in choosing proud mode and no moral inferiority in choosing easy mode. Choose what is best to your pacing, schedule, and energy levels so to avoid burnout and unnecessary stress.
