About the Sequel Trio's friendship

I saw a past comment on how is Rey supposed to tell Finn and Poe about her dyad connection with Kylo? They'd view that as a betrayal and it would ruin their friendship!

Um...excuse me? What?

First of all, they'd be hyprocrites because Poe forgave Zorii, Leia, and Holdo for mistreating him and Finn for giving him a hard time about him being a former spice runner. Why can't Poe forgive Rey?

Finn forgave Poe for lying to him about being a spice runner and he forgave Rose for stunning him with a blaster and Chewie for trying to kill him "six times", and forgave BB-8 for zapping him repeatedly. Why can't he forgive Rey?

They know Rey is a good and forgiving person, plus Kylo is dead now, so what does it matter?

star wars fic writers, i am BEGGING y’all to stop using the spice runner background story for poe in your fics. it is a beyond racist backstory and we all know this. it’s fanfiction, you can come up with some other backstory for him! please just do not perpetuate the racist stereotypes that disney imposed on an amazing latino character!!

I could go for hours about how the sequels ruined so much potential, but here’s the dynamics that would’ve existed if the sequels were good:

Rey & Finn: wholesome babies. Both of them too good for this world ans trying their best to be kind

Finn & Poe: explorer buddies. Poe teaches Finn about the world and Finn follows him around learning about stuff. Honestly, super wholesome and are the darlings of the Resistance

Rey & Poe: absolute chaos. We have “I’m a rule breaker” and “What are rules” mashed together into an awesome duo. Either they get things done twice as fast or nearly destroy the ship. Finn has to chase them around the galaxy to make sure they don’t get killed
