How do I ask a friend to stop intentionally showing their fresh sh wounds? It's extremely triggering, and I really don't want to relapse. I'm fine with people showing scars and stuff, but I think the fresh stuff should really be covered until it's healed. I don't want to seem insensitive or pushy but idk how to ask without seeming like a jerk. I'm open to suggestions and please lmk if you think I'm being overly sensitive and should just be okay with them showing non healed sh.

Edit: For example they were wearing a zip up jumper but deliberately had the shoulder with fresh sh out. There was literally no reason for them to have it out other than to show their sh. I'm worried about upsetting them and angering my other friends who all seem to act like it's a normal and okay thing. Maybe I'm the issue but idk it just seems messed up.

Yes Jonathan is more Villain now buts all basically bc Clary said no thank you to incest. Which makes him more of that creepy dude who still after 10 episodes doesn’t get it. So basically zero development. Pathetic. Could the SH Writers fuck up this great villain anymore? We’ll see ....

I am curious to know what happens to Malec in 3x05 for Alec to get insecure about his relationship with Magnus. Haven’t we established Alec is okay with his past?

Is it about the immortality issue? I hope so. That would be one of those few things I think are necessary to bring up..other than that, I hope they won’t waste an episode on drama for the sake of drama.

3.01 -  follow up review - The weapons of choice

So I finally got the chance to take a moment to watch Shadowhunters s3 premiere on Freeform on demand (gotta make sure they get ratings credit) and here are my follow up thoughts. My immediate reaction can be read HERE

Can we all take a moment to appreciate whoever got rid of the terrible opening sequence/dialogue from 2b? Thank the Angel we don’t have to waste screen time on that nonsense anymore

Clary is slowly realizing that her wish to bring Jace back to life was short sighted and selfish but she can’t bring herself to regret it saving him, still she hates lying to Alec and Izzy (also Izzy’s kick would have broken the glass on that vending machine. Just saying)

It’s clear that Clary learned how to be a terrible liar from Luke, he’s like a little puppy who destroyed the couch and then looks at Ollie like “it wasn’t me” but he’s covered in stuffing and guilt 

I like that they are using the classic back story of Lilith - Adam’s first wife, barren, etc. - great intro for the new villain. Also, her look is on point, beautiful but dangerous 

Clary’s backflip is better than Jace’s - her flip has purpose, he looks like he’s just peacocking. Also, the flips aren’t needed.

The demon that possessed Tim was a creepy contortionist. However, I think it was too easy for Clary to kill it.

Magnus tells Raphael that Larenzo Rey is a pompous ass and he orchestrated the whole thing that cost Magnus his title as high warlock. So is Larenzo working with the Seelie Queen??? 

Raphael is going to get grounded by his warlock father for being a naughty naughty vampire liar. Shame on you Raphael 

I love how malec is written so wording and phrasing matters, it’s real… Alec didn’t tell anyone else about the counsel offer because he wanted to stay with Magnus… Magnus wanted to be supportive of Alec’s career ambitions but neither of them wanted to be separated from each other… This was an amazing way to show us how committed they are to their relationship, even if sometimes things get lost in translation - also, I love that Cat speaks to Alec as Magnus’ partner 

As my final thought, I have to say I prefer Sarah Hayland’s Seelie Queen to the little girl. Sarah fits the part better for me - in looks and manor. Especially when dealing with Simon

Ok, but this adds more to the theory that Victor Aldertree is, in fact, Sebastian. Maybe, I’m getting over myself and he’s referring to Valentine. But if Dom was referrering to Valentine, it would be too obvious and I’m pretty sure that Dom would’ve been less mysterious about it... ? I don’t know, discuss.
