@faecaptainofdreams and virtually the rest of the Spyro Fandom be like : “Spyro 4 is never gonna happen! Move the fuck on!”
Toys For Bob and Activision be like: You’ve just been served.
Operation Shadow Legacy Main Theme OST with a bad mixed drum - Rainbow S...
‘Spyro: Shadow Legacy’ on the Nintendo DS.
The Funderlic kids! Disaster twenty-somethings and cousins of Ember! All of them use they/them pronouns. As the offspring of two dragons with wildly different elements and proportions (Fire and chumby for Adena, their dam, and Ice/Water and noodly for their sire, Ronny) , they have come out delightfully weird-looking. This was heavily inspired by @spyroid101‘s art of these guys!
Names and personalities under the cut!
Accessories Are Canon
I’ve seen some people expressing dislike or outright hatred for the adult dragons wearing accessories like hats and jewelry in the Reignited Trilogy, but I don’t really mind it because it’s something that was already showed to be canon a long time ago.
In A Hero’s Tail, the elder dragons of that game all wore accessories and so did all the adult dragons in its sequel, Shadow Legacy. Some of the adult dragons in Shadow Legacy even wore shirts. These games take place in the Classic Spyro universe, meaning the idea of the adult dragons wearing clothes and other accessories is canon within the classic games.
It’s likely the reason we don’t see it in the first few games is because all of the dragon models were basically just recolors of one another, so adding accessories would have been difficult at the time for every single dragon. They had to cut one of the dragon clans(machinists) because they just didn’t have the time for it, and they probably didn’t have the time to add any accessories to the many adult dragons, if they even could considering the limitations that old games like the original trilogy have.
It’s likely a detail that gets overlooked because of all of the attention for other dragons is directed towards Ember and Flame, two young dragons who are Spyro’s age who get introduced in a Hero’s Tail and show up in Shadow Legacy as well. I haven’t seen anyone really talk about Shadow Legacy, so I’m assuming very few people remember it or just don’t care for it.
Don’t forget that many creatures in the Spyro Universe wear accessories or even clothes as well in the original games. If a greedy bear can wear clothes, why can’t the dragons?
