Yes of course!!!! i was between a few ideas, one is just the reader accidentally injuring themselves and gene jumps to immediate assumptions then laughs at you when he figures out you like... tripped and cut open your leg lol.

But i know what you all want, you want a ravenous force, a man so full of rage he brings hell to earth itself, yall want to see the blueberry man get his ASS kicked. (Note I decided to make this a continuation of 'Caught a Vibe' if you wanted something more along the lines of, someone tries to kill reader on purpose feel free to request that!)

MCD! Gene x Injuried! GN reader.

Warnings: Mention of wrist injury, Gene guys i can not say this enough on my blog THE BAD GUYS ARE STILL BAD!!! Varying levels of bad especially in relationships but Gene, Zane, Ein, Etc. Your wrist only got worse over time. The flesh darkened and became tender, swelling until you could hardly bend it without stabbing pains. You were unable to tend to your garden... at least not with tasks like weeding or replanting.

This was the longest Gene had stayed behind, and a part of you wished he hadn't you still remember the look in his eye as you were leaving the market a dark rage that sent a chill crawling to the very base of your spine. Gene has a way of drawing out deep primal instincts against your will, one change in demeanor from him forces your whole body into a cold sweat, Like a rabbit staring down the jaws of a wolf.

And what of that tension, the dark writhing mass of anger following him? Its only gotten darker and more oppressive with each day reflecting your bruising. You missed the birds in the day and crickets in the night, you missed your skin being clear of goosebumps, but most of all you missed what humanity was left of Gene. The cocky attitude and flirty smirk, the truly horrendous jokes... You haven't seen any sight of it since the morning after your journey to the market.

"Ah!"

Stabbing pain from your wrist to the ball of your shoulder, so sharp you swear you can feel it in your teeth. You jerk back with the shout, eyes shooting to Gene, But... he isn't looking at you, he has a eerily calm expression staring at your wrist, you wish you could say he's overreacting but, your wrist looks BAD... feels worse... practically immovable.

"You're getting that treated" His voice is cold and firm, there's hardly any room to argue with Gene when he's in a good mood, you feel like if you tried now you'd just be shouted out until he forcibly changed your mind... even if it is in your best interest, the idea makes a stone like dread form in your stomach. So instead, you inhale deeply before nodding

"Okay..."

"Now."

Okay that was more of a surprise, you never went to town when Gene was her, brought down the chance of trouble in.... multiple ways. Besides he tended to prefer having you to himself but before you can even say a word he's grabbing your cloak and fastening the cape of... well its best you don't ask how he got that guards uniform.... Less you know more you can deny.

The walk back to the village is... well how often can you describe something as tense? He's silent and staring forward eyebrows face tense... he's thinking on something dark, and he's thinking HARD. But, his fingers are laced with your own, and your pulled close as can be to his side, He walks you all the way to the Doctors... uses his Magicks to ensure you don't have to pay then...

"Meet me outside when your done okay?" Lightless dark blue eyes finally meet your own.

"Y.... You're not staying?" You look over in surprise, Gene NEVER left your side when he was with you sometimes you couldn't decide whether it was cute or suffocating now you were getting medical treatment and... he was leaving?

"No no, I got stuff to take care of Doll" Well that sure doesn't bode well.

"What do you have to do?" When you ask.. He chuckles darkly reaching out a hand and placing it on top of yout head.

"Don't you worry your little head about that yeah? I'll be right outside by the time your done, I'll even have a little suprise for ya" he hums with a warmth that doesnt reach his eyes then walks away as you hiss in pain, doctor starting work on your wrist.

Theres been a commotion outside, you haven't been able to investigate. A wrap and splint being put onto your wrist but there's been a lot of shouting for the past 20 minutes. A part of you wishes you felt more worried, after all, the main scenario playing through your mind is Gene has been discovered but... no one in this village could hope to hold their own against the shadow knight, Metal or wits. Thinking about him being discovered gives you more a sense of pity for the people of this village then concerns over your beloved.

It's not until you step out of the doctors building that you learn exactly how wrong you are. Theres a crowd gathered, all staring at a pleading and crying man... a man you recognize.

The blueberry vendor from a few sunrises ago has been forced to his knees in the time square, his face is bloody and bruised you'd be surprised if he can even see the men holding him in place, arms outstretched despite how desperately he claws the wooden barrel holding his arms up trying to escape, to plead his case.

"Here she is!" Genes voice calls your head snaps over as he walks towards you in full guard garb. He makes it to your side and with a flourish pulls out quite the fancy ring.

"He took this engagement ring from you, didn't he Doll?"

Only half of that was a question. And you could tell, either way this man was being framed for stealing a ring most likely from you. But staring into Dark blue eyes deeper than the sea as dark as the night, you know the question laced beneath this one.

"...Yes." you nod slowly swallowing away the... difficult emotion here, you don't quite know what it is. Something between guilt for the man... and dread. But deeper in you a warm electric feeling sparks in your chest of adoration and love as he slides the ring onto your finger... gently cradling your hands.

Right as the Vendor loses both of his.

With the screams in the backdrop and the tangy metallic scent of blood you realize something. That electricity is zapping its way through you, turning that guilt and gnawing feeling to ash. Maybe... your more twisted than you believed, after all... you need to be to love a man like Gene as deeply as you do.

Part 2 of Nether Mob SK HCs!!

sorry this took so freaking long i forgot all my original ideas and had to come up with new ones lol

Magma cubes: The second most common type of shadow knight. A corpse's muscles are replaced with the slime like substance of a magma cube (not magma cream, but the actual magma cube slime). This makes these SKs even more fire and lava resistant than others, but not immune like a strider. These SKs usually end up being some of the most violent and mindless as their ability to split their body into smaller versions of themselves is incredibly painful, and their low amount of health means they're usually doing that a lot, especially since they like to brawl with each other. Magma cube SKs can absorb other magma cube SKs and also regular magma cubes. This increases their health, durability, and strength, which is the reason they're always fighting each other. Absorbing another SK can be confusing and painful for both sides, as the one doing the absorbing remains the dominant mind, but takes on the memories and abilities of the ones they absorb. Their muscles being made of such an elastic substance means they can jump really high, and don't take as much fall damage as other creatures. The few magma cube SKs that wield maces are the most powerful, scary, and dangerous due to the maces abilities perfectly meshing with a magma cubes abilities. A notable, and the scariest of all current magma cube SKs, is Zenix, who was overlooked for too long due to being much smaller than most of the others in his ranks which gave him the opportunity to pick off weaker magma cubes to grow stronger under the radar. His rage and volatility were a big help in motivating him to keep growing stronger, and he eventually got his hands on a very heavy mace that he's been working on growing strong enough to fully wield.

Striders: Unsurprisingly the most calm of the SKs. They are the most peaceful and least violent and aggressive of the SKs. A corpse's skin is replaced by that of a striders to make them completely fire proof. They get cold very easily, and usually like to hide from other SKs in lava lakes surrounding SK fortresses. They are not the best fighters but they are incredible scouts and are usually used for mapping out dangerous areas in the nether. The colder a strider SK is the slower and more lethargic they get, which is why scouting strider SKs have to drink potions made by ghast SKs to not get too sleepy and pass out in a random area and never complete their job. The most infamous strider SK is Vylad, hated and bullied horrendously for being a Ro'Meave, he had to learn to hide better and get away quicker, which makes him the perfect scout and spy, too bad he isn't on Shad's team.

Hoglins: The lowest of the low ranking SKs, and the most common. Hoglins are sometimes bred for the express purpose to have their parts used for SK bodys. Their tough skin is build to be resistant to the worst of the nether, and their superior senses make for great abilities for Shad's soldiers. These SKs usually come from people who were weaker in their lives, or people who are less useful to Shad in their deaths. Hoglin SKs are usually more visibly inhuman with large tusks and milky eyes built to better handle bright lights but less equipt for darker places. They are physically very strong, but mentally very weak and often have to fight off shades from taking over their bodies if they idle near the corrupted souls for too long. An incredibly infamous hoglin SK is Zane Ro'Meave, and its rumored he was turned into a hoglin due to Shad's distaste for the man.

Wither: Shad was the one to create the idea of the wither, and the first to successfully create one as well. He based the creature off of his own destructive powers, and built them using the volatile rage of souls in his grasp and the corrosive biology of wither skeletons combined with pieces of his own divinity. In a way, Shad is the first and only wither SK.

Zenix never saw Garroth’s face.

In rebirth it’s either specifically stated or heavily implied that he has never seen wha’s under Garroth’s helmet. And Garroth didn’t get his face reveal until after Phoenix Drop was attacked, right? And the only reason that happened is because Zenix fucked up his helmet. But even if it was damaged, it probably still stayed on his head. I mean, maybe he saw an eye or apart of his mouth or something, but not his whole face. 

And if that’s true, that would mean that as of where we left off in season 3, Zenix still has no idea what Garroth looks like.
