There comes a point in your story where your characters, though created by you, become entities of their own. Once out into the public, people create ideas in their minds of these characters based on what was presented. They form ships, they form ideas. They soak in the stories and art like rays of sunlight.

And that’s a beautiful thing.

To have something you created take a life of its own in the hearts of readers, watchers, lovers of art. It’s amazing. The ideas we are able to share, compare and contrast, help bring these stories to life. Am I proud? You bet your ass I am. For every mention of my characters, every interaction, every theory crafted in my comments, a huge smile spreads to my face.

You’re inspired. I’m inspired. You’re enjoying it. I’m enjoying it. That’s what life’s all about. That’s why I create. 💫

I've been resonating with the word butch for a while, but it took me a while to figure out whether to use it or not as a trans guy. I , of course, can only speak from my circles of friends and experience. I have never much been one to read a ton of studies or academic papers about gender studies or specifically lesbians. I find the stories of my own elders and the sharing of experiences with other lesbians yields way more nuance and, dare I say, Common Sense.

The reality is often way more complex than social media discourse but in the same sense more simple and without taking too much too seriously or personal as others figure out where they fit and what resonates or does not. Figuring out anything in the modern world as we are inundated with information, good and bad, can be a difficult task. Separating what is within and what is without, what feels right and what is just TOLD to us that we are supposed to feel is a full time job in these times.

I share my stories and allow people to take what they need and leave the rest. Real life experience is more suited to the human experience than a one size fits all declaration.

I hope you saw my tiktok where I stitched Roman. We are vastly different in our approach to embracing our butchness and yet so similar in the way we move and are perceived in the world. The world is too vast to cast all trans men or otherwise in one giant mold.

I am glad you found me and and I hope you find friends and a social circle that says "yep" and you all get on with living and loving life.

I know it's unrealistic but I like to imagine the iwbft gang keep in touch after the book. Like obviously the boys would, and I think Bliss would keep in touch with everyone, but like all 6 of them staying friends. Not on a daily basis, but maybe they rent out a lake house for a weekend every year or so, just to catch up and have a break from reality

To come back on Genshin -

I really need more content of just, Zhongli and Xianyun.

I need to see their dynamic, their friendship. Their shared "parents energy" and awkward co-workers vibes but also the more sad side of them basically being veterans, they fought one or even two wars together and lost many of their friends.

I just need to see more of them, you know?
