We need all the help we can get! The shark fin trade is a global problem. In the USA, the sale of fins is banned in 11 states and 3 territories. However, state-level bans do not bar the import of foreign-caught shark fins. The US imports shark fins from countries that do not have shark finning bans including China, India and Indonesia.
