OK, so I wanted to share a HC of mine and I feel like you're the perfect person to share this with directly, as I think it's an interesting thing to think about;

This thought basically came about when Aglaea bound Dan Heng and TB's wrists with golden thread during the interrogation in 3.0, and it made me think... would Dan Heng have had a panic attack because of that after the fact as he thought more about it, considering that was basically what had happened to him during his time in the Shackling Prison? You know, being bound and dealing with near constant interrogations as Dan Feng, and not being able to escape the bindings and pressure of being told to divulge High Elder secrets even in his new life as Dan Heng?

Just something I thought about recently, and I'm writing a fanfic about it (that's established relationship dancae)...

Dan Heng being contained in the shackling prison, especially what we have currently in information of the prison, it’s definitely something that has left Dan Heng with permanent, most likely, physical & physiological scars.

So being restrained himself is something that could trigger a PTSD/panic attack response.

If I honestly think about it more, if this was confirmed to be canon of Dan Heng being bound could be a potiential trigger for him - the mental/emotional strength this dude has is immeasurable.

Like imagine, being triggered from an act that was to restrain you to question you because you broke a promise - & then having to keep your composure to gain back that person’s trust so you don’t end up dying. Even when he wasn’t the one doing the answering of the questions during the interrogation.

Then later, break down as you’re in a more secure place & time to let out your emotions.

Seriously, me & other fans make jokes about Hoyo making a sexual fantasy into a lightcone when IL was Dan Heng’s newest form at the time, but the impact of Dan Heng being hurt the way he was in the shackling prison is clear in the story. 2.4/5 made this abundantly clear with how visibly shaken he was to be back there.

So the possibility of him being bound as a potiential trigger isn’t out of the realm of possibilities.

I honestly love this because not only it makes sense but also add onto the pain of Dan Heng’s past.

This man needs as many hugs & love he can get.

Thank you for sharing this with me! It was nice to talk about Dan Heng & analysis how this would work with him as a character.

OHH MY GOD I AM SO SORRY FOR SENDING THAT BONDAGE DAN HENG… I didn’t see that hc post and only saw that you needed spicy ideas so I just… sent that

I thought it was pretty hot to be tied up only off of the trust factor. Like someone trusting you so much that they know they are safe under your care kinda thing. I feel like for me personally it’s a soft material that’s not too tight on the wrist. But hey if you want to switch it (or even just ignore my request that’s okay too) I’m super down for tied up reader with Dan Heng. It doesn’t even have to be kinky. I just love the idea of trusting someone so much, they allow you to do that. Yeah, it was a silly little joke around the community with Dan Heng but… yeah realistically bro would NOT be into it. And that’s okay comfort is on high priority!

Oh no! You’re fine! I’m so sorry that it’s been taking some time to get to that ask. If I take too long to send an ask, it’s largely due to me being swamped with school or other things.

Oh my gosh! I certainly wasn’t expecting this! I’m very happy that I made your day! Your fic was a delight to read & was very comforting. Thank you for the support on my fic! I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, just figuring it out is tricky. (The struggle as a writer) but I hope I manage to get it down. I’m currently working on a different one that is Dan Heng feeling jealous & having a sweet moment with the reader. Hopefully that will come out good.
