Hush / Doc Redacted Headcanons
[Most of these are probably out of character but shhh]
✩ Hush doesn’t need to blink, so he doesn’t understand when you’re supposed to - he usually ends up staring for extended periods and then blinking rapidly for a couple of seconds. Or when trying to be “normal” he’ll copy Doc’s blinking pattern to the best of his ability. It always ends up just a little after theirs, so they can tell he’s copying them which is somehow weirder than the constant staring
✩ Over time, Hush slowly takes on Doc’s features - It’s a very gradual process so neither of them notices until one day it just feels like they’re looking in a mirror
✩ Hush opens and closes his fists over and over when he feels an uncomfortable emotion
✩ Hush looks like the girl from The Ring half the time because he just doesn’t bother moving his hair out of his face
✩ Doc knows Hush watched them sleep but is tired enough that they couldn’t care if they tried
✩ Doc drinks scalding hot coffee in the morning
✩ Doc uses Hush as a body double when they have work that really needs to get done. He’ll just sit there and stare half the time, but it works
✩ Hush likes bugs, insects, isopods, etc. - The more legs the better. Doc is terrified of them and makes Hush take them outside whenever they find one
✩ Doc is trying to teach Hush slang and it’s the funniest thing ever. Just imagine his soft monotone talking about “skibidi rizz” or some shit
✩Hush does not understand the concept of PDA and tries to be as close to Doc as physically possible at all times, regardless of who’s around
✩ Hush is surprisingly good at Just Dance, but cannot do any other dances to save his life
✩ Doc’s most productive time of day is like 3-4 am
✩ Hush likes interlocking their fingers and rubbing Doc’s knuckles against his cheek like a cat
✩ Doc drinks juice straight out of the carton but gets onto Hush for doing the same thing
