Explain the shift: Lucid dreaming
Let's talk about another marvelous shifting method.
This method, as the name says, is based on lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming is when you realize you are dreaming and have some control over what happens in your dream. Some people think, at least when they just started to know about shifting, that shifting and lucid dreaming are the same thing; they are not. (If you are interested, I can do a post on why they are different; let me know<3)
It is not easy to realize you are dreaming; it may happen, and there are some exercises that you can do to slowly get into lucid dreaming. The basis behind lucid dreams is that your brain remains active enough that you realize you are asleep and dreaming.
One exercise that I personally use and that helps me a lot is writing what I dream. As a no-control shifter, this definitely helps me a lot, and after some time, my brain understood that dreams are something I have to remember constantly, and to do so, the brain remains "active" enough.
LET'S GET BACK TO THE METHOD AFTER I'VE EXPLAINED THE BASICS OF LUCID DREAMING.
Obviously, you will have to be fully aware and in control of your dreaming state and of your surroundings. Once you have that control, you'll have to create a door or, perhaps, find one. You'll walk close to this door, hold the handle, and say something along the lines of "When I open this door, I will be in my desired reality". When you open the door, you will find a few details of your desired reality. Once you enter, you have to fall asleep in your dream. Now, two things could happen when you do that: you wake up in your DR or you wake up in your CR and then fall asleep and wake up in your DR.
As always, if you have any questions or want to know more details, let me know, and I will be here to answer them! Have a wonderful day or night!
