Got on track with my mental health and therapy hoping it sticks, I really don’t want to look for another therapist again.

Only focus on what you can control.

Nobody gives you value, nobody can take value away from you unless you give that control to someone else. Peoples judgements, words, and opinions do not have power unless we see it as true and give it that power to control us.

We aren’t robots so peoples opinions will hurt sometimes but we have the control to let go and leave that person to their opinions. We can’t control someone’s thoughts or feelings towards us but we can control how we react and treat what they say or think.

Always focus on what you can control and leave everything else to the universe. Low key my anxiety be making this hard to do but always try; you are worth it!

Gonna open up the games soon, it’s been a hot minute since I have done some (gonna add some too)

I haven’t been writing much, I think it’s because I feel like I am not in the right place and I have no real direction with my life atm. Even with my knowledge and interests I still feel like I am wandering with no goal (depression? Probably). It makes me sad to not have a goal; to not look forward and be excited about something really bums me out.

My newest therapist is already gone and I am going to take a break from therapy because it is not helping me right now. I wish I could say I progressed with her but she was unorganized and new to her job so it makes me sad to say she didn’t help much :( It is also my fault sticking with her so I have learned my lesson. Sometimes its hard to see the magic, thats me right now but maybe the games will bring some light to my day. Stay tuned!

Just a reminder, your worth is not tied to your performance.

You are worthy of all good things that come into your life. You got a thousand dollars randomly? You deserve it. You have a partner who is the breadwinner and spoils you? You are worthy. You found someone who will sit with you at your worst moments and not turn away? You deserve that too. Even if it’s for a short lived happiness, focus on the moment and not the extra garbage we bring from our thoughts and past experiences. Appreciate that happiness and invite it in instead of rejecting it because ‘you did nothing to deserve it.’

You are worthy of all good things that come to you!

How to be effectively mindful throughout your day:

Less social media - put down your phone; this gives your mind room to notice your day instead of looking down at a screen Journaling about your day - ask yourself about your day to acknowledge your emotions because they build up without you knowing Breathing exercises - brings you back into your body and lowers anxiety - I have practiced this many times and it works Reading a book - puts you in a meditative state - notice the emotions a scene may bring up inside you Planning your meals before hand - slowly eat and enjoy your meals that you prepared - nutrition helps brain function and helps regulate the body Nature walks - observing what you see even the minor details with mindful breathes - this could be 2-5 minutes from your day Working out - puts you in a meditative state and helps the body naturally feel better - acknowledge the burn in your muscles, actively pay attention to the pain (it’s hard but it actually makes the workout feel even better? My opinion lol) Watching the stars - observing the sky and taking a deep breath to take it all in Spending time with loved ones - noticing the feelings in your body when you interact with the ones you care for Mindful listening - spending time with loved ones and sending that awareness outward by observing the moment with the people you are with Listen or playing music - puts you in a meditative state - pay attention to the beats that make you feel alive or emotional Getting good sleep - being grateful about what you have before falling asleep leaves you off on a positive note and sleep naturally heals you

As a person who is seeking peace, mindfulness has brought me a lot of it. I believe even doing one of these things can help out your day, go forward on your healing friends and find what works for you.
