here are some sick hcs I have!! :DD

- dally is battling CONSTANTLY in the winter time, he gets colds and sinus infections 24/7 once it gets cold out so his voice is just all raspy for months

- pony brings home whatever cold is going around school. darry catches it and is fine in two days, soda catches it and is very dramatically acting like hes on his death bed bc he's always dramatic about being sick, poor pony has it and is ACTUALLY on his death bed bc when he gets sick he gets reallyyy sick

- Steve ends up getting so sick at one point and crashes for a week on the curtis couch, it's the one time ponys even a little more decent towards Steve but he's also being forced to stay away so that he doesn't get sick too

- Two-bit is one of those people who NEVER seems to get sick (he'll get a cold maybe once a year) so he's just living the life whenever the rest of the gang is suffering

- Also dally gives me major terrified-of-catching-something vibes (especially since he's already sick like all of winter) so when he hears there's something spreading in the gang he hightails it out of there for like a week

- Darry WILL force Johnny to stay over at the curtis house whenever he's sick so he doesn't have to suffer in the lot. once again, darry forces pony to stay away bc pony can NOT risk getting sick,but since it's johnny it doesn't end up working so darry just keeps walking in on pony five feet away from Johnny and telling pony to go back to his room (pony being pony pulls out the whiny "but darryyy I'm so far away it's fine he's my best friend how am I supposed to stay away and I literally won't even get sick") (he wakes up the next morning sick off his ass)

Wrath: somehow even more edgier.. rots in his bed most of the time. he doesnt even bother to do anything productive because he finds no point in doing so

he gets mad when people try to make him get out of bed or invade his personal space. he also hates certain medicines and prefers to eat specific foods that he wouldn't eat otherwise ("they're sick foods, why would i eat them if i'm not sick?")

he's not very skilled at taking care of sick people. he just listens to what they want and ask for, and he doesnt try and bug them unless he truly feels like he needs to (ex. if someone is violently coughing their lungs out or throwing up)

Gluttony: he's reduced to a baby. thats it thats the tweet /j

he tries to stay in bed for the most part, but he does also do his regular work out routines and makes his own food. he typically just makes a stew or a salad for himself and only drinks warm things when he's sick. he's the type of guy that you kind of have to force into bed instead of running around and doing stuff

when it comes to taking care of others he coddles them a ton 😭. he makes their food, makes sure they're okay, and stays close so they don't have to go very far to ask for something. he'll encourage them to do some workouts with him but he respects it if they dont want to

Pride (guys pretend its yellow plz): he's dramatic asf but we love him. he complains a lot about his sickness and makes it known that he isn't happy about it in the slightest. unlike wrath he enjoys getting all the extra attention especially if they make him feel superior even while sick

when it comes to taking care of people it's kind of like tough love. he really only takes care of people he truly cares about and even after that it's followed with a "you should be glad i spent time out of my day to take care of you!" but he does take the time to actually make sure you're okay. he feeds you the medicine himself and probably tries to make you feel fancy, even if you're all stuffy and snotty

Envy: oh wow okay

envy's already kind of bad at taking care of himself, so when he's sick it's pretty bad. he has to practically drag himself out of bed to make himself food or to just use the bathroom, and he either forgets to take medication or takes an awkward amount of it. it's safe to say that a caregiver would benefit him, but he hates being a burden to anyone, and he doesn't like feeling vulnerable either

he worries a lot when it comes to taking care of another person while they're sick. he tries not to come off as pushy or annoying as he tries to make them feel better, but sometimes that doesn't work. he's not a great cook but he does follow some recipes for the person so they can at least eat some good food

Greed: ew. anyway

i think greed would probably hate being sick since he feels like nobody actually takes him seriously, which ticks him off because he likes to have power, and a lot of people don't take him seriously in the first place. he doesn't like to come off as weak either

however if he was taking care of someone else i feel like he'd be so overly nice it's uncomfortable. it feels more like a fake kindness than anything, and of course he'd find a way to fuck around with you any chance he could get.

Sloth: sloth is pretty prone to falling sick. he's very similar to envy, not really taking care of himself properly, but he does a lot of sleeping. i think he'd probably end up sleeping more than he already does while hes sick.

he's always kind of in a daze when he's sick. he's honestly in a daze in general but it seems like whenever he's awake he's dissociated or just delirious

he's pretty bad at taking care of people however he does have good intentions. he makes the bed as comfy as he can, but he is pretty lazy so he's probably not the best person to be taking care of someone. he does get the person whatever they want if they ask for it though.

Lust: he tends to be kind of dramatic too, but not as dramatic as pride. he loves self care and making sure that he's healthy, so he reminds himself to take medication and even logs when he takes it so he can measure how much time should pass before he takes another. he likes eating oatmeal and other soups for the most part, and he's likely drinking broth or some hot chocolate.

when he takes care of people he pampers them with everything they could possibly need. he logs everything in a notebook so he knows when the person needs to take more medication, and he's there for comfort and company. he feels pretty alone when he's sick, so he wants to make sure that the person feels happy despite not being in the best shape.

Notes: Wrote this since I was sick for like a week, a classic hc but a good one!

Artem

You felt fine in the morning but while getting ready your face felt really hot and your throat was feeling sore.

You shrugged it off and went to work

But as time went on when you were with Artem he noticed you were coughing and sneezing a lot, your voice also sounded off

“Are you sick?”

“Not really, just a sore throat.”

Artem finished up whatever you two were talking about and forced let you out early to go home

You came home and slipped into your lounge wear

Ngl you felt even worse so you were about to take a nap

But as soon as you were just about to fall asleep you heard someone knocking

You open the door lazily and there you see Artem with a paper bag and slightly blushing

You let Artem come in and he made some chicken noodle soup! (Or some other soup idk)

I feel like Artem knows some home remidies for when your sick so he’d give you some home remedy which made you feel wayyy better

Artem’s cooking is like amazing as we know so you finished that quickly

Artem basically took care of you and as you fell asleep he put a blanket over you and left awkwardly bc he didn’t have your permission to stay lmaoo

The next day you felt a lot better and decided to go to work again bc Artem helped you feel a lot better

Artem had a nice breakfast waiting for you because he knew you were gonna come lmao

Luke

Luke’s been taking care of you since you were little

He knows what your favorite comfort foods are when you’re sick

He could tell you weren’t feeling well when you were at Times Antiques with him

You kept sneezing and sniffling your nose

He insisted you rest instead and basically dragged you to his apartment upstairs

He told you to wait and he got some of your favorite snacks and ingredients to cook one of your comfort food when your sick

While some parts were a lil burnt you still enjoyed it bc it’s Luke’s cooking

You rested on the couch even though Luke wanted you to rest in bed while he would sleep on the couch

You were still feeling miserable despite the medicine

To distract you Luke put on your favorite movie or Sherlock Holmes

So while you were sleeping Luke picked you up and tucked you in bed so you could sleep comfortably

The next day Luke started to feel sick too…

Vyn

Nothing gets passed this man

I think some of his clients have came to him while sick so he’d know what to do

You were at one of his lectures for funsies and tbh his voice is so calming to listen to

But Vyn could feel you were a bit out of it but he couldn’t figure out why

Spacing out plus you looked kinda tired

After the lecture was over he came over to talk to you

Your voice hinted the fact you were sick

Putting his hand on your forehead mid conversation also gave it away

You eventually confessed that today you weren’t feeling the greatest but didn’t think it was that bad

He instead that you went home or at least stayed at his place to rest

You didn’t want to burden him since he was so busy so you went back home

You said your farewells and Vyn dropped a “I’ll see you soon” you didn’t think much about

Turns out he came back 30 minutes later with some tea and pasteries as well as some medicine

You were NOT expecting that

Vyn brewed some expensive looking Chamolie tea and handed it to you

If you don’t like chamolie tea now u do bc the way he brews his tea??? Litterally amazing

The pasteries were also your favorite flavor because he knows you so well^^

Vyn handed you some awful tasting medicine but hey, at least you were feeling better

He’s so gentle with you it’s so nice jdkdhf

Marius

This guy definitely has never taken care of someone who is sick

Maybe some of his elders??? But it’s not something he’s experienced with

It started when you both went to an art exhibit in the afternoon

While you and him were making jokes about Marius being Z, Marius could tell something was off like how your voice sounded much more tired and sick, to the amount of tissues you were using and had to keep throwing away

You still held your ground and told him you were fine

Marius wasn’t having any of that

Marius Daytime Aurora flashbacks

He took you to his home bc his dad wasn’t home

Made you lay down in the guest room and had Vincent deliver everything a sick person could ever need

Give this man a raise

The medicine smelt terrible but despite the smell you still drank it bc Marius was planning on taking you to the doctor it’s just a cold Marius

Marius kept you company the entire time while you laid there with lots of tissues and a trash can nearby

He made the sick experience 10x better

He gave you your favorite snacks bc this man cannot cook and neither can Vincent tbh

He said he could get someone to cook your favorite foods for you but you rejected his offer

Maybe another time he’ll try to cook something simple

When you started to feel better you started to notice Marius sneezing more then usual

Now to take care of him..

Hello Anon!! Of course you can my sweet bean! Let’s go!!

Nathan at least tried to take care of his sick partner. He brings them snacks and juice upon request. He had tissues on hand. He just stood 10 feet away the entire he offered them. What can he say he just really hates being sick.

Pickles is willing to come closer. He’ll offer his partner tissues up close and even comb their hair for them. He’ll go as far as making some special tea for them and bringing it to them. He’ll cuddle his partner if they’re really not feeling good. But he tries to keep his distance if he can help it.

Murderface will complain to high heaven the entire time especially to any of his friends about having to take care of his partner. But in reality he really doesn’t mind it all too much. He’s happy to fetch whatever they may need. And he feels more comfortable knowing he’s by their side throughout the entire experience than not. Even if he gets sick himself he was happy to have helped you. But don’t expect him to ever say that out loud in public. 😂

Skwisgaar stays far away from his sick partner. As in he’s now moved his entire set up to another room in their living space. Sorry but he just isn’t willing to get sick. I have a HC that Skwisgaar suffers from being immunocompromised. He gets sick extremely easily and when he is sick it is extremely hard for him to fight off what he is fighting. This means it is not only vial to his career that he stay healthy. But he could become dangerously sick from something as simple as the common flu If he’s not careful enough. He would however be rooting for his partner from the other side of the wall. Playing them ballads. Doing FaceTime calls to check in and say he loved them. One time he even made his partner a little paper origami swan that they keep tucked away on their desk at work.

Toki is beside his partner every step of the way. He’s getting everything they need. He’s bringing in the extra fluffy pillows and blankets. Need medication?! He’ll go get it don’t worry! Need cuddles? He will cuddle his partner until they never want to be touched again. He tries extra hard to keep his partner’s mind off of things with movies, food, music, their favorite shows, sometimes smexy times if he can get away with it. He can be a sneaky devil lol

Okay so I feel really bad but I accidentally deleted an ask about hc’s for when Peter is sick (I believe??). It was Anon so I couldn’t ask them to resend it but here’s some hcs!!

When Peter is sick he gets super extremely cuddly. Like, he will not let go of you unless he absolutely has to. (Tony constantly uses this as an excuse to get away from meetings)

His senses go absolutely crazy. His sense of smell is reduced so everything else goes crazy. Sight? He could see every pore on your skin if the light from the tiny night light across the room wasn’t burning his eyes. Hearing? He can clearly hear the little girl screaming two blocks away in apartment 4b. Touch? He feels everything. Every touch. The air brushing across his skin. He needs a constant. He needs soft.

He keeps his eyes closed about 99.9% of the time so when he’s with Tony they just listen to soft music (Peter wears noise deadening headphones, but can still hear the music)

If he’s sick he is like... extremely sick. He’s Spiderman. Go big or go home. This ain’t no small cold. He has to be so extremely sick that even his superpowers can’t keep up.

Okay this one is a bit uncommon but I have this hc that when he is completely out of it and in pain and feeling gross he does math. He does it like a mantra. And if math stops distracting him then he thinks about all the different applications of biology. Then technology. And so on. Eventually till he passes out.

Cinnamon Rolls are his comfort food okay. Don’t ask why. Totally not self projecting-

Anon: HCs for when any of the poly!hats are sick?

So I wrote about it here with poly!hats I think having BBD and being sick and here with Nami being sick/hurt

So!!!! We'll go down the list of what the partners do when one of their own is sick!!!

Monkey D. Luffy: when Luffy is sick, there is a quiet panic that falls over his partners cause luffy isnt ever sick. Law Chopper and Marco usually spring into action with medicines while Sanji starts making nutritious food for his captain. Robin is on comfort duty while Franky Carrot Usopp and Jimbei protect the ship. Zoro is a human body pillow from the heat he puts out and Nami will run her fingers through his hair and try to help Vivi with making sure the rest of the crew is drinking and eating. Brook plays relaxing music.

Roronoa Zoro: Sanji:idiots cant get sick. No its not often Zoro gets sick but its more common than Luffy. Most of the jobs are the same except Luffy is part octopus and understands hes a bull in a glass house that also has a china shop in it so he tries to just lay as still as possible but when lying around gets to be too much he'll usually stay away from most of the crew members and switch someone for guard duty. Carrot and Usopp are expert cuddlers. The crew is a little more lively since they dont have to constantly fight Zoro to stay down and sleep. (Law even lets him have some whiskey in his tea and chopper still doesnt know).

Nami: its a red fucking alert. There is more panic than 2/3 doctors think is necessary but "you two werENT THERE SHE ALMOST DIED" it takes a bit to calm everyone down. And its Nami who does it but she handles a sick day by just cuddles and soup. She'll stab anyone who brings her to the medbay for a cold. If not for fear of her luffy would disagree. It is the only time Nami doesnt give Zoro shit because he usually notices first and just pulls her into his chest to make her lay down. Marco handles navigation. Chopper gives Nami medicine and Law provides some of the worst best bedside manner.

Usopp: god save anyone when this God gets sick cause its never just a cold Usopp will have pneumonia in both lungs and bronchitis and ask Law or Chopper to give them something for allergies(im Usopp btw) whats worse is Usoppll still do what Usopp usually does and either play it up 100 degrees or just be in denial but whats different with Usopp is just wanting to be left alone? At first everyone was kinda hurt cause they love them but you just kinda sometimes wanna wallow in your existence???

Sanji: y'all ever heard of manflu. Cause this boy gets manflu 😰 which is no offense cause poor sanji. This means vivi Marco jimbei and Nami are on food duty and zoro 100% defends the ship cause he cannot 👏 stand 👏 whining 👏 its cute on luffy. Not on Sanji. Zoro still loves him but "men should die silently". (Zoro about had a panic attack the first time sanji was sick)Chopper and Marco usually deal with Sanji best when hes sick. Jimbei is Sanjis cuddle buddy cause sanji does. Not. Want. To. Be. Hot. And jimbei is cold 😁.

Chopper: you'd think everyone would be chill but like,,,,, do you understand the panic if your only doctor is sick? Before Law and Marco it was up to Nami and Usopp to bullshit their way through medical books and Sanji to try and control the rest of the heathens. Lemme tell y'all how nice it is to have more than 1 doctor. Carrot honestly will not leave Chopper and her and Robin almost had war but they decided to share. Choppers in heaven. But also sick so, that sucks

Nico Robin: You think Sanjis flu was bad. For years robin was alone with her self. She is a brat times 12. Law usually deals with Robin only cause he doesn't have good bedside manner and isnt afraid to tell her to calm down. He still uses Luffy and Chopper as meat shields but 🤷 whats a man to do. Vivi, nami and Carrot surround her and do whatever she asks which is why shes a brat. Marco and Jimbei are absolutely terrified of Robin and its cause of the time Robin had the flu and she was so groggy and sick and Marco made a comment in pure fun and he had a squeaky voice for a few minutes. Robin is no fun sick.

Franky: I'm torn on if cyborgs can get sick but he is half human(1/4 now??) He needs warm coco cola constantly?? Would ginger ale make him act sick?? Theres too many variables here y'all idk what would happen but it would not be SuUUUUUUUPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEERRRRRR.

Brook: can skeletons get sick??? I mean he can drink and eat and feel warmth and cold but like??? Jfc there are so many variables here someone come hollar at me if franky, Brook or Marco could get sick cause honestly idk.

Jimbei: like swine flu but fish flu. I feel like Jimbei wouldnt try to tell anyone and Marco would just appear and be like spongebob to squidward like "youre sick arent you Jimbei". It takes exactly one puppy dog face from Luffy to get jimbei to take some time to relax and heal. Jimbei is a blushing mess while being cared for. Like on a scale of I Deserve This and More aka Robin Nico to Please Stop Taking Care of Me aka Jimbei, hes of course jimbei. Everyone thinks its sweet.

Nefertari Vivi: Is mother fuckin princess of Alabasta, the realest the coolest, the biggest baby in the world. Snuggles. She wants nothing but snuggles. Like she would prefer to be shot than have a cold. (Same). But shes hot. All the time. So her snuggly friends are Jimbei, Law and Marco. His fire isnt hot and he and Law are for some reason cold. Zoro: cause theyre from the ninth level of hell where its cold. He is promptly delegated to be on dish duty for a week because the Queen demands it. And by Queen I mean Law 🤷

Marco: can Marco get sick?? Can someone help me?????? Should we make a discord??? Is prom tomorrow??? WHOS FLYING THE PLANE?!?!?!?

Carrot: their sweet summer child, also everyones daughter practically(not in a weird way but yknow) is like Luffy rarely sick and even when she is sick 🤷 its like the sniffles and maybe a light cough. Its usually over before she even realizes she had anything so her time sick might be spent with reading with Robin or even hanging around the doctors for some quiet and pat pats.

Trafalgar D Water Law: you think they panicked with Nami and Luffy?? They heard about his childhood, they've seen photos of the scars. If Law coughs even once they bleach the entire everything. Everything gets lysol(E V E R Y T H I N G) the Poly!hats wage war on germs and they win. The Sunny or where ever they are is sterile. 100% you could eat off the floor. Not that anyone but Luffy or Zoro would. Law acts like He hates the attention but like he did almost die from a disease and he has so much panic and to have his partners there for him means the world to him and it makes him have heart eyes. But subtly.

WHOO man. Thats a novel right there kids. My fingers actually hurt.
