Sooooo already running into roadblocks with my medieval hood...for some reason, some of my lots are not allowing sims to cook! For example, the earl's palace is fully furnished with a kitchen, but fully maxed out cooking skill servant doesn't have the option to serve or make anything. When I attempted to buy groceries, the game threw a message that said all the fridges were full.
This is only happening on a few of my lots. It has happened to me before, but I don't remember how I fixed it. I tried scouring sims reddit and whatnot but couldn't find anything :(
Anyone experienced this before? What did you do to fix it?
i can’t do it with this stupid Fucking game anymore. it’s impossible to play, it’s glitching all of the Fucking time. i fix my cas thing by digging through all of my Fucking mods. now its this
i removed all of my eyelashes, i’ve fixed the size of my eyes, i removed an eye overlay. i restarted the game, i increased the graphics definition. eventually i just decided to remove the game from my computer. i’m so frustrated i’m going to scream. why is this game so ridiculously difficult, why does nothing ever freaking work.
if you can’t tell, there’s a ridiculous smudging around my sims eyes whenever i’m in live mode. it’s like she’s wearing a thick eyeliner or something even when her face is completely bare. ridiculous ass game with so many problems that its hard to find the one that i’m describing.
Is anyone else having the issue where sims are idling for a long time before doing what you ask them or they’re just straight up refusing to do it? As far as I know all my mods are up to date and it’s getting really frustrating! It wasn’t happening before the patch and right now my game is close to unplayable and I have no idea how to fix it :(
I had three very annoying hair glitches today, and I want to document what the problems were so hopefully others can avoid them. It may be caused by broken custom content.
Glitch 1: A base game hair was showing a null scalp.
This issue was caused by having a mesh by me where I did not Fix Integrity correctly. Therefore, I’d accidentally made a default replacement. And then the mesh that I made had issues, so it didn’t show up. So, remove the problematic mesh, and the error goes away.
Glitch 2: Strange Hair on Bald Scalp
This issue affected many ages groups, though not children or toddlers. There was a light hair texture covering the scalp.
It sat under existing hair textures.
This was caused by DreadPireate’s Honeygold Redux default skin for werewolves. I’m not sure why, maybe the scalp texture was accidentally applied to a non-lycan scalp. But when I removed that default, the problem was resolved.
Glitch 3: Glitched hair texture on scalp.
This issue was the hardest to identify. Strands of hair and some dark technical-looking patches covering the scalp. It sat under existing hair textures.
This one was caused by JacobAOConnor’s Therapist Hair in All Colours. Presumably it would also happen to the original unlock it was based on, by HugeLunatic.
Perhaps that’s why the hair is no longer directly accessible on ModTheSims and I had to use an archive link to download it? Same for HugeLunatic’s unlocker.
So if you’re unlucky enough to have this issue, look for very old unlocked CAS content and remove it!

Hey guys! I’m looking in getting a new desktop and I desperately need some advice about a predicament i’ve run into:
I had great success in getting Sims 1 Complete Collection and Sims 2 Ultimate Collection running on a PC desktop that had 1TB HDD and a secondary drive with 128GB SSD (solid state).
HOWEVER, for some frickin’ reason, the desktop I really want to get and is customized, has 256GB SSD as the PRIMARY drive, and the 1TB HDD as the SECONDARY drive. So, it’s essentially flipped. I can’t get it to have 1TB HDD as the primary with a SSD secondary, for some reason.
1TB of SDD is way too expensive for me to get; so 256GB or 512GB is the max I can go, with 1TB HDD as a secondary.
My question is: would 256GB (or even 512GB) SSD be enough for a primary drive to run Windows 10 and my Sims games?
If not I will have to go back to square one.
EDIT: Ideally, this desktop would hold my Sims 1 Complete Collection, Sims 2 Ultimate Collection and Sims 3 with EPs up to University, plus CC. I’m kind of leaning towards 512GB for the Primary drive....thoughts?
Hey! Anyone who plays Sims 2 (on disc), can you maybe help me with a problem I’ve been having?
You know those triple expansion packs with like one main pack and 2 stuff packs all on one disc like Fun with Pets (Pets, Family Fun Stuff and Mansion and Garden Stuff)?
Well, a few years ago, we installed just Mansion and Garden from the disc, then a few weeks later, we decided to install pets and family fun stuff, (mansion and garden unchecked from the install list because it was already there), but when we did this, it seemingly uninstalled Mansion and Garden, no objects or anything in the game and any objects we previously used from it having disappeared, but when I tried to reinstall it or even fix it with an online download, it says it’s still installed. But when I try to click uninstall it says it’s not installed.
Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?
It’s happened before when we got a triple pack with kitchen & bath when we already had that installed and our items disappeared but I know somehow we managed to get it back. That was like 10 years ago though so I can’t for the life of me remember how we might’ve done it.
There’s a lot of complaints about Error 102 popping up ever since Discover University. It might be mods or bedding, but in my case it was an ongoing event/festive day. I wanted to share in case someone also struggles: move out your sims to an empty lot, end the event/festive day, then move your sims back to the original lot and save game. It seems that if you save the game while there’s a festive day ongoing it will give you this error. Hope it helps someone in need.
So, this is about the fourth time a burglar has showed up at the palace. It is the middle of the day and everyone is awake. Every time he shows up, three police come to arrest him immediately.
Gameplay screenshots coming soon, but what the hell? Why does this keep happening? This seems like a bug. I do have Sunni's medieval DRs, and there is a medieval safe on the lot (cloned from the sim slice piggy bank). Could that be why?
