Hmm.  Well, I have Buckley’s fixed “scale X” slider, but the one that was misbehaving was the “scale XYZ” and the symptoms are different than Buckley describes.It’s really strange and I know I’ve used the sliders before without issue.  It’s frustrating.  And I checked, I have NRASS set to allow a kajillion sliders.

THANK YOU all of you! This was a labour of love but nevertheless your positive feedback means a lot and made it all the more worthwhile! THANK YOU! *whispers* I love him too Shhhhh! I am really trying to find him a waifu (I checked and he’s straight which is why I am trying to hook him up with a lady) but it hasn’t been going well! Not many eligible ladies in Shang Simla- in fact he’s only met one so far and she went off him pretty quickly! Fingers crossed he can repair the damage before he leaves so she’ll come visit him when he returns home!

Definitely weird. I know I have to install both the nraas mod and the XCAS slider hack bc the game hates me with that too. Does it only do that with that accessory? I don’t see why it’d be the cc tho I’m just at a loss diagnosing ��

No, it’s every accessory I’ve tried.  And the only thing I can come up with between when I remember it working and now is maybe the fact that I put the sliders in CCMagic. But it hasn’t affected any other sliders, just these.

I often have to piece together info from several tutorials, and a lot are outdated. Just for reference: short hair will almost never need morphs or bone reassignment, unless the hair covers the cheeks or shoulders. And even then, if the hair's super floaty morphs may not be a concern.

Yep, that’s me jigsawing bits together or completely making stuff up as I go.  Or using tutorials that aren’t even Sims-related.  LOL  In my case, it’s long braids, but point noted for future reference.

Thank you!  Some of them are inspired by a single reference, some of them are composites of several different pictures.  Some of them started out as first drafts of celebrities, but I liked how they looked.  I do wish I could give them personalities.. but it’s just not my thing.  Maybe I should do one of those collab thingies for @simplyimaginarypeople ‘s challenge.  I make a sim, someone else give him/her a personality/story.

@hyperkaos - My dearie, I know I saw a reply from you but tumblr is being a meanie and ate it.  So have a Hiddles on the house.

Thanks!  Someone might, but not me probably.  A Nony planted the idea for doing witch/sorceress/occult type poses in my brain and apparently there is a distinct lack of wands in the simerverse, except the in-game functional objects.  I started converting them into accessories as-is but realized they are ridiculously over-sized.

Well that sucks. I don't know anything about meshing hair. Probably a bone/joint assignment issue. Kinda like with tops and the waist or neck issue. idk maybe. :(

It’s actually stumping me a bit because the hair is just the mohawk bit, no scalp so it shouldn’t be deforming like that.  But I was looking at it and the original in game on another sim.. and damn if that defect was gone.  I am starting to think it’s the skin not the hair.  There just aren’t any skins that look ‘good’ on shaved/bald hairlines.  Which is really frustrating.  I’m starting to get distracted with thoughts of making/fixing one.... but gah!  NOOOOOO! too many languishing projects as it is,...

@packagedblyss - It’s a twisted little ‘adult’ cartoon series about (former) inept spies.  There is a wiki if you are interested.  I have most of the main characters in the works.  But a lack of necessary elements drove me to learn to make custom content.... but I’m painfully slow.

@packagedblyss - It’s actually a super-easy edit to do with sims cuz you can freeze them in the exact positions.  I took one shot with the whipped cream outfit. Then I had her change into the shorts outfit (without moving the camera), reposed her and took the second picture.  Stack the two pictures as layers. On the top layer, do a layer mask and mask out bits so the bottom picture shows through.

My cats are still #1. They are better at the empathy, sympathy, concern, affection game than any rl-people.  Sad as it is.  (Though interwebz people seem to be better about this than rl-people too...)

Successfully scaling down a “fancy” recipe for just one person.  I’m worth the effort.

Making a dessert that my Dad likes (also, successfully scaled down to miniature size).  I know he looks forward to them every weekend.

When creativity strikes and I can make tremendous headway on a project and it isn’t a major struggle.  It just “happens”.  (Not often, sadly)

Stopping to just enjoy the sunshine on my face (but not for too long because I burn like crazy).  I could really use some.  It’s been a bit dreary here lately.
