The SKSD 5e magic school westmarches ended! It's unfortunate that I wasn't able to participate much because of time zone differences and school, but I'm glad I was able to participate in what I was able to join. Thanks again @katastrofish for lending Dani as a PC! They were fun to play!

Sera Myu Calendar 2018, September

Here is my pic for september. Actually september is one of the autumn months for me but somehow it's still always (much too) warm in september for me (at least jn Germany, lol). So I decided that the island story once more was a good choice for the picture. And because I already had Fumina's Kaiteiban in this calendar, here's Marina's too😊😊🤗

I've roleplayed Dani, @katastrofish's Delta Green bond NPC, a couple of times. Recently, we impulsively joined a 5e magic school Westmarches because of an MLM: Fish plays their Delta Green PC AJ/Simon, and I stole Dani lol

This magic school MID/Magic Institute of Dragonheart has 5 colleges. Finan's in Caladrius (healing/druidism/necomancy), Claretta's in Pavus (arts). But the both meet in Behemoth's athletics and sports classes. Finan would also take a couple other Behemoth classes for kinesiology.

Context: Simon is my PC in a 5e westmarches set in a magic college. It's the start of his second year and almost his birthday. He returns home.

...

The week before his second year, Simon's parents call him home to celebrate his birthday early together. He has a day to unwind until they start to pick apart his insecurities. His flaws. Him.

She tells him his hair is getting too long, and he forces out an 'I think so too', to make them happy.

"Finally," his mother tells him, seemingly satisfied--proud of him, at last. "Something we can agree on."

She takes him to the barber shop the next morning. By the time he realizes here, sitting in the shop's chair, the overdue haircut is already over. He looks into the mirror and sees the person that he should want to be. Proper. Compliant. Everything under control.

This is what is right. He consciously avoids thinking about how he feels sick to his stomach. He can live with this; it's just a haircut, after all. The smile on his mother's face as she coos at him is worth it. It has to be.

He sees himself in the mirror smiling politely back at her. "Thank you for taking me." It's what you say when someone does something for you.
