"richard, peter and gamora met during a space war where the mightiest galactic heroes came together. during this, rich and gamora have a casual sex thing while him and peter become best friends (read annihilation 2006). peter and gamora form part of the original guardians of the galaxy team (spoilers: peter mind controls her and everyone in the team to join bc he's messed up) (read gotg 2008) while rich fucks off to do his own thing bc he feels the need to save the whole universe by himself. he's p normal as u can tell. space things happen and rich and peter end up sacrificing themselves to stop the big bad thanos and everyone mourns them until mcu synergy brings back the guardians in 2013 with peter and gamora back on the team, rich nowhere to be found. gamora ties down peter for him to tell her where rich is. after much pressure he finally breaks and says he got left behind and the last thing he said confessed his love for gamora. it isn't until years later that rich comes back from what is now known as the "cancerverse" (picture stranger things upside down, our world but everything is soo evil and soo fucked up) where he has been basically suffering non-stop for years with no way out. gamora gets mad that he came back and didn't tell her. they go on a date (read nova 2017). peter gets mad that he came back and didn't tell him. they all make up and some other shit happens like gamora killing peter xoxo but he comes back xoxo. they also end up together by the end. shit gets REALLLL in THEEE run of all time guardians of the galaxy 2020 by one al ewing. i'll leave some stuff unspoiled bc it's a trip and a half. long story shortish is that peter and gamora are together living a white picket fence type life but in space. except someone i mean something is missing. enter richard rider yes his name is a dick joke and cue death, love confessions and saving the world I COULD GO ON dm me if u dont care abt spoilers but DO READ IT PLEASE"

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D 2 part finale aired on August 12, 2020. 5 members of the original team May (Ming-Na Wen), Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), Daisy (Chloe Bennet), and (A Life Model Decoy of) Coulson (Clark Gregg) were in the episode in their final fight against the Chronicoms. The epilogue, that took place one year later, was July 4, 2020. The series ran for 136 episodes and 7 seasons. How are there so few fics where Skye/Daisy/Quake from Agents of Shield has chronic pain? I can find 8 via filters and just about all of them are able Clint Barton.

I thought her powers literally shattering the bones in her hands would lend themselves to this but apparently I'm the minority in this.

It hurt having to see her like this. Her lifeless hand barely gripping onto yours as silent prays and hopes floated in your head. When you got the news about your wife’s injury you knew you had to see her, both hers and your agreement to never tell anyone suddenly felt like a few meaningless words. Although it would definitely come with consequences, you didn’t care in the moment, all you cared for it your wife.

Her hospital room was one you couldn’t get easily into, but you being an assassin and all, you found a way so that people wouldn’t notice. Tears welded in your eyes when you saw the state she was in, tubes coming in and out of her monitoring her stats 24/7.

“Get away from her.” Coulson. You met him- well, fought it a couple of times. He ignored the fact there were tears in your eyes, hand intact with Daisy’s as you leaned on her bed. When you didn’t he reached for his gun, only to scan the scene in front of him.

Her hands, your eyes, the rings.

“You’re her wife.” He said quite calmly, taking his hand off his gun. It all made sense. Why Daisy would keep on distracting them away from you. Why you’d never be at the hideouts when planned. She was protecting you, protecting her wife from them. “Well shit.”
