I really like my swap concept so like… The Stone Maker/ Void Colle upon ye.

I was going to base his design off of a stone mason, but then I learn that their clothes are low-key boring so I put him in a mourning outfit

He does have strong gloves to work with stone tho so dw

I would LOVE to hear your Colle and Seer swap au

The story plays out as normal up until the demon Steve war ends, Seer gives the crystals and to Colle and heads back to the spirit realm. Which leaves the darkness to not infect Seer, but it goes to infect someone else.

Colle. In this time, Steve’s start to come together more, seeing Steve’s all mingling with each other is what Colle wanted… right?

Well yes but it comes at a cost, no one seems to… need him anymore. Sharp is working on a library, Beef is finding a new purpose in life after his mini crisis, Goggles is helping the new Red Leader with running the red kingdom and making new tech, the biome Steve’s are trying to move closer to each other and Genesis is working on bringing the forest Steve’s back.

Colle feels as if… everyone is leaving him. They all have new lives now and Colles just in the background. No one really needs his help.

Now it’s not a BAD thing, Colles happy that everyone is living peacefully, but he feels lonely. He sees his friends talking to each other and he feels like a ghost.

Now this starts to drive Colle a little stir crazy. And he doesn’t feel good about it… but he used the crystals and became Rainbow Steve.

Now he again feels bad about it but people thought that there was a problem again People paid attention to Colle.

He started to fake problems and get all the glory! He traveled around just to have fun stories.

But it one day clicked that people will still forget about him, if there’s no real threat and he’s traveling constantly, who will remember him?

In this timeline, the darkness takes shape in a different way… Instead of a darkness causing negativity and evil to grow, it goes to freeze time, freeze moments, to petrify steves.

Anyone in Colles way gets incased in stone. It’s started off by a few animals getting frozen in stone which makes Colle panic, causing more damage to the surrounding area and running away.

Some Yellow Steve’s find this area that’s completely made of stone, it’s very clearly weird and they report back to their leader who obviously informs everyone else

At first they don’t think much on it, but then more Steve’s find these patches of stone, one which seem to lead to the Green Steve village.

Nothing came of this but at the same time, Colle was reported missing, along with Genesis. This, was suspicious because soon after these discoveries, the biome Steve’s became a bit more closed off, kinda fearful of leaving their homes.

Eventually, this leads to Boss sending out Some Elites to find the indigo tower to maybe get answers.

Indigo Steve’s, do not know why this is happening, but they send Seer over to the overworld since he was close to Colle.

Seers confused, this is all very out of place. So he goes to talk to the biome Steve’s, only to find the villages and the Steve’s in it to be stone and the way to the obsidian steves is caved in.

This scares Seer, so much so he runs back to the red kingdom, only to find it slowly being taken over by stone. Some Red Steve’s escaped but those unfortunate are incased in stone… but by who…?

Someone who called The Stone Maker

Seer knows that if the surviving red steves stay here, they will become memories.

So Seer knowing without someone strong there’s no way to fight past The Stone Maker, so Seer sneaks them out.

What’s next?

Well the Red Elites and Seer follow The Stone Maker to his base and instead of trying to fight him at his base, they sneak around to see if there’s a way to reverse the petrification

Upon entering the temple like building, they see the crystals and… Genesis.

Genesis wasn’t fully incased, but the poor creator wasn’t able to move. He seemed so powerless and scared.

Yet there was The Stone Maker, talking to Genesis like he the two were good friends…

Seer was the first to notice it.

The familiarity between the two… the fact Genesis and Colle were both missing…

The Stone Maker was Colle.

The Stone Maker left the room, and the group went to Genesis, trying to free or even HELP him.

Genesis, told them to take the crystals and go, helping him would slow them down. Reluctantly, Seer swiped the crystals while the Elites argued with Genesis.

Seer pried the red steves away from the creator, but only to be met face to face with The Stone Maker.

His face was unreadable, he seemed happy? Sad? Angry?

But the gang needed to SCATTER

In the panic, Seer reabosrved the crystals and fought against The Stone Maker to save the elites

But during this, the entrance collapsed, trapping The stone maker and Genesis and killing Seer.

The crystals were left unharmed and close to the elites, so they took them back to each respective leader, and the steves split off.

I propose a new au where the last inferno wasn't evil and just blind and didn't know what it was doing

like

it was just trying to find Genesis because it remembers him and his face from before the fire and the blindness

but ends up finding his creations thinking it's him because they have small traces of Genesis within them

It saw it's "attacks" as playing and didn't know it was hurting anyone

but it dies before it can be reunited with it's creator

anyway when I thought of this au I couldn't stop thinking about it

Been thinking. All day about various forms of Jinwoo going missing and the fic is Jinah's POV. Can't decide if I want to have Jinwoo vanish into the Double Dungeon (Ashborn isn't trusted much ever so he has to train his heir where the other Monarchs can watch more easily). It follows Jinah from the funeral and onward from there.

Or if Jinwoo, after the Cup, after he leaves for the Gap between world. He doesn't come home. But the earth still spins. And Jinah is ten when the world turns upside down on its head and there are Gates and Dungeons and Monsters. And her Father Awakens, but he always comes home. Kyung-Hye doesn't fall into Eternal Slumber (the weeds don't get her this time). And Ilhwan returns from every dungeon he ever steps inside. (He remembers he remembers what it cost the last time.)

In both: a dungeon break at Jinah's school. (First AU, she's seventeen. In the second, fifteen.) She Awakens. Violently. Traumatically. She and Songyi drag their classmates out of the ruins. Their class; the only survivors in both.

Here, though, Jinah is S-rank. And furious. People die when regulations for dungeons are ignored or disobeyed or people get careless. When Gunhee approaches her and her parents, Jinah accepts his offer. Money doesn't matter to her. What matters to her is that people not die stupid pointless deaths that could have been avoided. She wants to become someone with enough power and authority who can fight for change.

Not that the Guilds don't try to win her over! Yoonho on the weight of his and Ilhwan's history as firefighters and Jongin on the weight of a sisterhood with his Vice. The other S-ranks make their own offers, of course, though they are generally polite enough to call her parents first and ask to meet through them.

Jinah obtains a GED. Goes to college with a parttime job as an intern under Jinchul because there is no one better to show Jinah the ropes of all the ins and outs of the Association. She goes on business trips with him and Gunhee. Everyone knows though, that Sung Jinah may as well be Go Gunhee's granddaughter. (In the first AU, maybe Gunhee and his wife formally adopt her to cement things. Jinah can be a nepobaby.)

There's other stuff. Go Gunhee passes away. Jinchul is Association president. Jinah is either just graduated or still in college. She's too inexperienced to take over herself at that point, and Jinchul is still incredibly respected in South Korea by all the S-ranks. Jinah settles into the Monitoring Division eventually. A while longer and she'll then have his old chair.

And then there is an S-rank Gate - or an A-rank boardering on S. It goes Red. The Gate stays Red for fifteen minutes. A quarter of a day inside the Gate.

It's an all hand's on deck sort of situation. Jinah joins the party. In the first version Kyunghye has passed away to Eternal Slumber, but Ilhwan's returned and he goes with his daughter (awkward as they are in the same room; it is so complicated). In the second, Kyunghye is there to see her daughter and husband off. Jinah attempted to convince her father to stay behind but Kyunghye wouldn't hear of it.

The inside of the Red Gate is a stony, wind-swept place with little vegetation, but enough sources of water that Jinah's party makes do as they follow that internal radar that points Hunters in the direction of the boss.

And then they find a temple that looks like it was made for giants. The place is pretty empty inside. But its a break from the elements. They think they're probably close to where the boss is. Maybe its even in the heart of the temple? They find a defensible room inside the temple to rest before what will hopefully be the last day of travel before finding the boss.

I don't have a lot more worked out honestly. The party runs into Jinwoo and Ilhwan or Jinah recognize Jinwoo first, but Jinwoo just goes: Whomst?? My name is Charon.

Jinah and Ilhwan think Jinwoo must have amnesia. They are committed to making Jinwoo remember, not realizing Jinwoo is just as committed to pretending not to know who they are.

Jinah's cain instinct is going to revive with a vengeance.

Horror AU desert steves have dr*gs are are powders that will stay airborne for a while. They're very brightly colored so you can tell that it's there and what it is, but those still exist.

H!Desert Apprentice has dragged H!Colle to areas so he could give him some of these before, he claims that it was to "help his friend calm down". This unlocked the fear of going anywhere alone with someone else, ESPECIALLY if it's an enclosed area with no one else there, for Colle.

Sometimes, these dr*gs will be lined with potion effects, which is also bad because the potions in the horror au will modify the user's body. For example, the water breathing potions tear gills into the drinker's throat, morph their lungs, and grow webbing on their hands and feet. Some will grow patches of scales depending on the length of the potion effect. The user will feel these effects taking place, and it's very, very painful for them. The effects don't last forever and they eventually revert back to normal, which is also painful, especially since they don't have painkllers in this world... Yeowch.

Horror Au Goggles has a habit of killing people, half way drowning the bodies in salt, then putting them up outside his lab so they can "dry out". He also killed his parents, mourned them a little, before cutting off a few parts of theirs and stitched them onto himself. He'll take parts that he likes from some corpses and put them onto himself.

By the way he was roughly 10 when he killed them.
