Finally finished this sketch I'd had sitting around since after I saw the Galaxy movie. This was the only part of it that matters to me really.

This Super Mario Bros. Anime art is from the 1987 Suntory Ade Orange Nintendo Famicom Calendar. The original text said it was for Super Mario Bros 2 but that would be "The Lost Levels." Alt text: This is a really fun and colorful underwater band scene. The Koopa and other bad guy characters play instruments. Mario and Luigi dance on a giant pearl. Peach sings from a clamshell while Bowser stands behind it. There is aquatic life watching them from every angle.

I did the Koopalings for SMB2 yeaaarrrs ago but I never did Bowser... probably for the better he'd look horrible if I did him then but I'm well equipped now to do him and I think I did a bang-up job on this :D

maybe I'll redo the SMB2 Koopalings at some point... I'll put that on my to-do List.
