Childhood memory (works for any Verse!)
A deep frown on concentration stayed firmly in place on the young child’s face, and his mother bit her lips to stop a chuckle from escaping. But she couldn’t help it! Her precious Satoshi was so cute!
It had all started when Satoshi had heard his mother speak in a language he didn’t know over the phone. When he had asked-in his still barely developped speech-his mother had explained her family was from ‘Kalos’, another ‘Region’ like Kanto.
Hanako had not been surprised when the brown eyes had brightened and he had started chanting the words, “Wanna know!”
Hanako hadn’t really thought of teaching her son Kalosian, but now that Satoshi had requested it, she realized it was a good thing they were starting at such a young age. In truth, Hanako knew she could feel very warm when she would be able to hold conversation in Kalosian.
Hanako coughed to hide her small laughter. “Almost there! Don’t stress too much the e. Listen.” She smiled sweetly. “Je t’aimes.”
Satoshi bit his lips, blushing slightly. He knew what the words meant, and he felt it in his little heart that his mother had put true feelings in them. He had to do the same!”
Hanako’s smile widened, although it almost grew soft. She chuckled then hugged her son close, the little boy happily cuddling into his mother chest. He knew he had not pronounced well the third word, knew it should have been maman and not mama; but his message had come across.
Note: Je t'aimes = I love you (and "ossi" would be "aussi" wihich means "too" :))
