Anime vs manga snk ep 41
It has been so long since my HiLow shipping side has been so excited and satisfied! Too bad Isayama likes to destroy every potential great ship by literally killing one/both of them ! Who’s next…?
Rethinking back chapter 41 historia, do you think one reason lost ymir lost the fight because she recklesss. Like she recklessly charged at the Titan despite being at a disadvantage. Do you think ymir despite being one of the smart character have a time acting reckless which can cost her. Hey one of the reason porco got defeated was because of his recklessness
I think Ymir mainly lost because she was overwhelmed by the number of Titans she was fighting, and that in turn was due to her being highly untrained in using her Titan form (pretty much like Eren was in the beginning). Also, her Titan form wasn’t quite like Porco’s in terms of its strength and size, and I have several theories as to why that might be the case. But yeah, I’m sure the fact that she was riding purely on her emotions to save the others made her reckless.
Porco on the other hand definitely lost because he underestimated Paradis, which made him reckless and arrogant (although I think those two traits are naturally part of his personality). But Eren also outsmarted him, which clearly caught him off guard.
GODDAMNIT EREN
THAT'S IN CHAPTER 41
"Do you hate me?"
"I wonder. I don't... really know."
I keep trying to come up with something clever to say about this, but all I really want is to point out that while everyone else is staring in horror while a Titan flings Ymir around like a rag doll, Bertolt's smiling.
The monster that ate his friend and terrorized him is suffering. It's a good thing he's enjoying it; considering the time frame, this is the happiest he's going to be for a while.
ETA: The expression is a bit more ambiguous in the volume edition. His teeth are still showing and you could read more into it without much trouble, but it isn't something you'd instinctively call smiling anymore.
