Feng Xin and Mu Qing are two that claim they absolutely “hate each other”, but somehow they’re always next to each other, always doing stuff together, and always fucking each other.

Don’t even with me. They’re like… my favorite type of pairing.

Listen, we only saw them after 800 years of being together (and like… before being together), and I think if I was with someone for 800 years I’d probably bicker with them all the time, too. We didn’t get to see the in between where maybe they fell in love and did a bunch of really cute Instagram worthy things together… before… you know having been together for 800 years????

Honestly, Mu Qing is Feng Xin’s bickering husband that’s always nagging him. They really remind me of this part in Scum Villain, where Airplane Bro talks about all the comments Cucumber Bro left for him, and how Cucumber Bro was like his wife who’s life would be empty if they didn’t come around and argue with him. That’s the Feng Xin x Mu Qing dynamic.

BUT OKAY!!! I headcanon that they’re probably really lonely without each other. It’s too quiet, too serene. Sometimes, without thinking, they’ll go to bicker with the other before realizing they’re not there. That’s when they miss the other most. Of course, they rush to go see the other one when they can… only to think… WHY DID I COME BACK??? But hopefully… also see that the other missed them just as much… uwu
