Edgin whacking people with his lute
I finally made more memes!
Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves + "Would you have sex with your clone?" meme.
Just saw D&D: Honor Among Thieves, some thoughts
- Yes, perfect, this is exactly what I wanted from my D&D movie, complete ridiculousness taken 100% seriously. Perfect. No notes.
- Watching Chris Pine be a charming little cringe-fail bard is amazing.
- WHAT SANE MAN WOULD LEAVE A WOMAN LIKE HOLGA?! SHE’S LITERALLY PERFECT! THAT SOUNDS LIKE A YOU PROBLEM BUCKO! SHE’S LITERALLY FLAWLESS!
- Head: Sofina evil. Heart: Hrrgh, hot evil lady step on me.
- Xenk Yendar is the purest force of good in the world and must be protected at all costs. Not that he needs it, but I’m sure he would graciously accept the sentiment.
- Simon hit his insecurities right in the face. Now I just need me a way to do that too.
- A beautiful and charming found-family dynamic that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
- STOP BULLYING THE FAT DRAGON! HE’S TRYING HIS BEST!
- No Tarasque. Goddammit.
- Ultimately, 8/10, needs more Drow and Tarasques.
i know this is probably not a unique idea but i just rewatched the Dungeons & Dragons movie again and want there to be more D&D movies. they don't even necessarily have to be the same characters but they must be the same actors and the BBEG is always Daisy Head.
Randomly an NPC (played by a well known person, like randomly timothee chalamet) will say something weirdly out of context to the story (like something about the plot, blah blah blah—oh have you seen the Remote? The what? then he'd repeat the original dialogue), there will be end of credits cut scenes of the actors playing at the table and the DM is Daisy (hence why she's always the BBEG). the random NPC is a spouse, child, delivery driver, etc in real life.
watching Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves isn't enough i need it injected in my veins RIGHT NOW
i'm so serious i'm gonna watch it like more than a hundred times
In the new Dungeons & Dragons movie, when Forge says that Sofina should just kill them when she catches them in the castle and not put them in the games, he's actually being more merciful than cruel.
Edgin says earlier in the movie "there are worse things than death," and I'd wager that he believes being turned into a zombie soldier is one of them.
Sofina, however, notes that the party had defeated both Forge's guards and some of hers too. So when Edgin suggests going into the arena instead, she jumps at the chance because she wants these fighters as part of her undead army. It's a perfect addition for her.
So since Forge knows what Sofina plans to do, offering him a quick death is arguably kinder.
