...Have you ever woken up in the middle of the night and suddenly had a new idea? Yeah, so, I did, and I made this at 3am while half asleep, lol-

A new Furina!MC au, but it's an au within an au.

Where Nibelung and the other Sovereigns never fall to the Heavenly Principles and instead live in a tense harmony with the HP, the Shades, humans, and Archons.

Furina!MC exists in this au, only not as Focalors' human side, but her actual sister. Are they twins? Furina!MC wasn't really sure...

Even so, Furina!MC wasn't really close to her new family, or well, her mother or sister or even the other Oceanid. In truth, she was closer to her grandmother Naberius and the other Shades.

The reason for that was because of Ronova, who noticed something was off about her soul, and then they got her alone with the HP, which fucking terrified Furina!MC-

Thankfully, she wasn't killed on the spot, so there's that... but she was warned to keep her status as a reincarnation a secret, plus, not to cause any trouble with 'fate'.

HP: "Your soul... it has the potential to make you a Descender. I would prefer if that did NOT happen... so do stay out of trouble, little one."

Furina!MC walked out the meeting with shaky legs but look at that. She was still alive after meeting the HP! Yay!

And she got a grandma and cool grandaunts out the mixed as well!

Now... for how Furina!MC meets Neuvillette- er, I mean Leviathan (Pre-Neuvillette's Sovereign name).

Well, since she had a close family relationship with Naberius and the other Shades, plus the HP deeming her safe despite her questionable origins, she was allowed to walk the Celestia's halls... which while amazing, backfires on her one day.

By that, I mean she accidentally walks in on the HP having a meeting with Nibelung and the Sovereigns.

Furina!MC wanted to melt into the floor when several draconic eyes zeroed in on her tiny form, and that's not to say how terrified she felt when the HP turned to look at her.

It wasn't her fault! grandaunt Asmoday said it was ok to walk in! No, no! Oh god, she was gonna be ki-

HP spares her though. Again.

And then proceeds to pull drag her over to the Sovereigns- holy shit, that huge ass dragon had to be Nibelung-

Long story short... Furina!MC somehow finds herself being passed around from Sovereign to Sovereign after HP introduced her as Naberius' only 'cute' granddaughter-

And now here she was stuck in the Hydro Sovereign's Neuvillette! Oh god, this was Neuvillette claws as he refused to put her down.

Leviathan (Pre-Neuvillette's Sovereign name): "I like her. She's pretty. I'm keeping her-"

Naberius: "LIKE HELL YOU ARE!"

Cue a feral granny Naberius busting in, and chaos follows.

Inchoate Demons can feed on any emotion equally, but in turn, they garner little energy from any particular source, so they must feed constantly. Before the Cacophony, most Inchoate Demons were bound in the Madrigal of Rak'Xit, the Inchoate Sovereign. ↳ Examples include Avior, "Warden," and Reticuli.

Misery Demons feed on feelings of grief, hopelessness, guilt, and shame. Before the Cacophony, most Misery Demons were bound in the Madrigals of Kir'Sha, the Sovereign of Water, and P'Taxeck, the Sovereign of Earth, among other. ↳ Examples include Noas, Tegmine, ad Vela.

Sadism Demons feed on feelings of hatred, malice, and harm. Before the Cacophony, most Sadism Demons were bound in the Madrigal of D'Deridahn, the Sovereign of Gravity, though some were bound to Jad'Zia, the Sovereign of Stealth, among others. ↳ Examples include Vega, Carina, and Volantis.

Serenity Daemons feed on feelings of contentment, peace, relaxation, and ease. Before the Cacophony, most Serenity Daemons were bound in the Madrigal of Min'Ara, the Sovereign of Serenity. All Deathwalkers were once Serenity Daemons. ↳ Examples include Camelopardalis, Crux, and Brachium.

Shock Demons feed on feelings of surprise, confusion, amazement, or wonder. Before the Cacophony, most Shock Demons were bound inthe Madrigals of Z'Tinqin, the Sovereign of Electricity, and Wen'Alak, the Sovereign of Psychokinesis, among others. ↳ Examples include Corvus, Ara, and Antares.

Strife Demons feed on feelings of frustration, anger, disquiet, and disgust. Before the Cacophony, most Strife Demons were bound in the Madrigals of Tal'Ris, the Sovereign of Fire, and S'Thenhin, the Sovereign of Air, among others. ↳ Examples include Musca, Rigel, and Hydra.

➤ NOTE FROM ERIK:

It's important to note, while particular kinds of demons will often share similar personality traits, those aren't uniform. And a demon that feeds on a particular kind of emotion doesn't have to be inherently representative of it. Sadism Demons don't have to be cruel. Empathy daemons don't have to be kind. While some choose to amplify their particular food source of emotion in a person, they can actually absorb that emotion from them instead and help relieve a person of it, if they wish. Just like humans, demons come with all sorts of personalities, preferences, and goals!

Thinking about Sovereigns slipping out one by one like D'Deridahn did. Do you guys think A'Xerahn would be proud of what vampires have become? Cause when they were first created they were all wild and feral so he considered them a failure but look at them now! With all their clans and structures and powers. Surely he'd be happy with them.
