If we only knew what our ancestors REALLY went through. Y'all DO KNOW that Roots was a hoax? Y'all do know that, right? Overstand that we may never know the depth and details of the MANY horrors our ancestors (the very people WE descended from. The DNA we STILL carry, the genetic that makes us who we are, TODAY) went through. Why wouldn't you teach this to your children? Oh, but you'll teach them about "Jesus" and allow them to idolize & worship ball players, rappers, gangsters, TV stars and anybody else who's famous and got money. Our value system is beyond fcukd up. Until we innerstand that CULTURE isn't simply about you identifying as black, but more importantly about your survival as a group, we'll forever be stuck on stupid. And to y'all who say we got power, I ask, power to do what, exactly? Change interest rates? Enact, or change laws? Create our own constitution? Take back control of our own land and resources? Demand AND RECEIVE reparations? FREE all of our political prisoners? Put our own currency into circulation? Buy, sell and trade our sustainable resources on the stock market? Set and implement our own value system? Create our own religion? Grant our people diplomatic immunity? Deploy an army? Exercise a show of force with our imaginary military? Show-off our imaginary J10s? I mean really, what POWER have we acquired? What? Because shop (in white owned retail stores) and pay bills is all I see. Am I missing something? So tell me again how much we've progressed, black people. Yeah, I know that you can afford a flat screen, now. Yeah, I know that took can afford to buy a bigger mortgage, now. Yeah, I know you can afford to buy $1000. designer belts. Yeah, I know that you can afford buy $5000 handbags, now. But what else can you do? Think about it.
