Ultra-Special Adopt

I was asked to come aid in the emptying of an abandoned lab, as there were reports of some inokabe there. I then stumbled upon five inokabe whose DNA appears to have been spliced/mutated with other species of yokai.

These five have some very special adopting requirements, as their needs vary greatly from normal inokabe.

You will have 24 hours to submit the adoption application for the inokabe you'd like to adopt. Normal cooldown rules apply. Specific instrustions below the cut (written submissions must be minimum 300 words please). Good luck!

I found this bud fae trapped in a factory and due to his injuries he’s unable to return to the wild… due to this there will be special requirements for adopting this faerie. Oh, and it seems this faerie also has a mutation that makes his wings have a unique shape to them.

Special adopt rules

You must draw the faerie twice, once on its own and once with whatever Oc that is trying to adopting it

The drawing must include both a shiny trinket offering and a food offering to earn the faerie’s trust

You must offer the faerie a name

If after 2 hours there are multiple submissions then I will spin a wheel to see who gets the faerie

I have arrived for the SPECIAL ADOPT EVENT!!!

Here are the first prompts!!! I drew the father Posslin, whom I named ✨🎃PUMPKIN🎃✨ protecting the mom, and Ari drew the momma Posslin, whom she named ✨🐈‍⬛KAT🐈‍⬛✨ resting her belly on a pillow!!!

Here are the second prompts!!! I drew Pumpkin enjoying some music to calm himself down, and Ari drew Kat painting in order to distract herself and relax!!!

Special Adopts: Big 50 Edition!

In honor of finding homes for 58 inokabe and counting, I have a very special batch of inokabes up for adoption!

To be honest, while inokabe are genetically compatible with other yokai, these can barely be called inokabe at this point, since they are inspired by dogs from other nations' folklore!!

The adoption rules for all the inokabes shown below will be as follows:

You must submit 3 total drawings, one of the inokabe alone, one of the inokabe with its potential owner, and a third one of your choice. I ask for at least flat/rough colors for all three, and at least one fullbody drawing of the inokabe. Written submissions are allowed, but must be substantial (as in there's no word requirement per se, but I would like some amount of effort in it please)

Please provide the inokabe(??) with a name! A name that comes from the creatures country of origin will increase your odds! (countries/regions of origin will be provided below).

For the mated pair, you must collab with another artist for the three drawings. (If no entries are recieved for the mated pair, applications will open for solo submissions following the rules stated in #1)
