4. They haven't moved on from 87 cartoon in Paramount studios because they still think TMNT is for kids but is actually for adult and it is based on brutal comics.
5. They have not learn from the failers of the franchise after 2012.
6. Modern movies to day are not good why would they think Last Ronin would make diffrent because Paramount only think of money not source material of fans.

My advice for exempel Batman in 90s was not good but later Christopher Nolan made awesome Batman Begins which TMNT coulld go that direction but go to take long time before get there.

First off to much cgi and second went from earth and bak to earth when they should have focus on planet Oa and get know characters better aswell the planet. Intro narrotor voice kinda spoiler movie story instead of audience explore it.
How Hal Jordan should have reacted of shock when he saw alien by the name Abin Sur like every human would if they saw unknown creature and yes the comics he was not shocked but this is live action so little diffrent.
What could done use some cgi instead of way too much cgi and use practical effects most part ad some cgi and other practical effects materials for exempel the characters snd built set.
Characters could been practical effects instead of cgi for exempel Guardians could played by short actors and actresses instead of using cgi on characters look like humans with blue skin color and missed opportunity for short actors actresses to get representation.
Castingen choice to Hal Jordan could have gone to Lessor known actor like Rick Malambri instead of Ryan Reynolds and same with Carol Ferris like Odette Yustman instead of Blake Lively.

This movie could have been like early original Star Wars and Star Trek aswell also look at Dune how well that movie become.
Only thing I like Green Lantern 2011 was there accent for exempel Kilowog with american accent, Tomar-Re with australien accent, Abin Sur with new Zeeland and Sinestro with british accent and can only imagine that Brother Warth would of had an hindi accent if he appeared in Green Lantern 2011.
