This is the time of year where everything gets busy, my stress levels are crazy, and my workouts fall to the wayside. And then I get a day like today where I have a little extra time so I get up and get my workout in. I haven’t done a strict cardio day so that was my focus today...gotta get that heart pumping!
So I’m in the middle of huffing and puffing, jamming to JT, and I find myself frustrated at myself. Not because I’m sucking at this cardio (which after weeks of not doing cardio, lets be honest...it wasn’t my best day) but because I always feel so much better after exercising. It helps me clear my head. Makes my stress levels go down just a little bit. So why am I not doing this more, especially when I’m busy and stressed? So, on top of focusing on everything else I need to prior to graduation, I’m also going to focus on getting in my workouts. Even on the days when I’m working 10.5 hours.
Today, I did a mix of T25 Speed 1.0 and a kettlebell workout. Two of my favorites. Sort of my go-to’s when I’m not focusing on any one particular part of the body.
