tori being like "ah, with access to a real city and pocket money, i would like to buy this interesting eyeliner--" and kushina is like NO MAKE-UP UNTIL YOU ARE TWELVE. life is so cruel. tori IS allowed to paint her nails though

i was trying to think of ways that naruto could be a cute younger sib. i think he would honestly like having an older kid that's legally obligated to pay attention to him. however they are mismatched because naruto wants someone to teach him cool things and tori fucking loves explaining things but naruto can only perceive an indecipherable wall of text when she does this. however. naruto is like "i want a jutsu to turn my teacher purple" and tori is just like "okay. let's do it"

i think tori gets sent to the academy real quick because they simply don't have anything else to do with her. minato briefly floats the idea of making jiraiya babysit her and kushina immediately shoots down the idea of jiraiya ever spending time alone with a young lady* *jiraiya isn't going to DO anything but he might say something insane

tori likes the idea of school bc she likes learning, but she hates having to only hang out with kids. she's constantly like "itachi save me" and he's like "no." also she has insane feelings about standing out so i'm not sure how she would approach a completely mundane school situation. but itachi is like "i would simply defeat all my peers so soundly they let me graduate" and "why are you upset. hokage-sama already knows you are capable of trapping and killing his own guard. he's not going to be surprised if you get an A on an assignment"

i think maybe sometimes tori does get yoinked from school because minato has spare time and he wants to play fuinjutsu like training a dog. tori doesn't mind because fuck children.

did somebody say Yu-Gi-Oh!/Sonic AU? no? too bad, have some designs. I’m calling it Speedrun, more details below.

Starring:

Yami Yugi/Atem as Sonic (and also Chaos, it’s complicated). Bonus Atem with a vest because I couldn’t decide what looked better. arms are hard, don’t look at me.

Yugi as Tails (I mean, obviously)

The Ishtars collectively as Knuckles (somehow)

Kaiba as Shadow

Mokuba as Maria but if Maria came back as a feral vengeance ghost (which would be amazing). Unfortunately Kaiba still refuses to believe in magic or ghosts so Mokuba has to relay everything through Mai and Noah like an annoying game of telephone.

Noah as Omega (he projects himself as a hologram because his robot form isn’t expressive enough for his tastes). Also bonus unobscured robot form because I spent a lot of time on it.

Mai as Rouge (I mean. of course.)

Jonouchi/Joey as Vector because he’s broke and also if Vector was part of Team Sonic and best friends with Tails, which would be weird.

Honda/Tristan is Espio? I guess??? I mean he did sneak around Pegasus’s castle that one time

Rebecca is Charmy if Charmy was the smartest person on the team

Not featured here:

Pegasus as Eggman (he’s already got the red suit and the theatrics, c’mon)

Anzu/Téa as Amy (we all know it)

Shadi as Tikal but if Tikal was extremely unhelpful, done with everything, and frankly kind of a jerk

Bakura as Silver (it’s the hair)

Yami Bakura as Mephiles, since they’re both manipulative, cunning villains who mostly sit around twiddling their thumbs until the very end of the story. Supposedly they had some sort of grand plan but it didn’t make a lot of sense and I’m pretty sure they were really just making things up as they went along)

The Doma/Orichalchos gang as the Babylon Rogues. Do not ask me who is who I do not know. Instead of stealing souls they just steal regular stuff, like Millennium Items and younger brothers. Dartz is supposedly their boss but he doesn’t have any real plans so mostly they do whatever.

Duke/Otogi and Blankey the dog as Mighty and Ray. Again, don’t ask which is which, just know that they occasionally pop in to help out Team Chaotix Jonouchi. Blankey is the most powerful character and that is why she can’t be on the team 24/7. I love Blankey.

Other characters. There are so many characters in Yu-Gi-Oh!. And in Sonic. Wow.

Im glad you like it, dear anon!!! <333! Sadly, however, I am in the midst of college applications, and im currently focusing on that as well as my coursework right now, so updates will probably not becoming soon unless I find a free day!

That being said, my update priority is currently: requests, of which I plan to publish 5 as they are all somewhat done, ace chap of esom, another esom chap, hanahaki, and then dearest brother and speedrun au. So you'll most likely get new whirly fic before you get anything else lol

So I saw a houseki no kuni au made by kordeliiius know as Speedrun! Au. And I couldn’t help but make a little drawing of one of the outfit’s Phos had in that au, You can go check it out, it’s amazing!
