Harry groans and blinks a few times, turning his face away from the brightness of the overhead lights. 

Peter shoots a web at the light switch and the room is plummeted into darkness, lest for the small bedroom window letting in evening light. 

“Is that better,” Peter asks, voice a little raspy from days of unuse. 

“Mmm,” Harry grunts, rubbing his eyes hard. 

“It’s okay Har, take your time, you're safe.”

“Peter?”

“Yeah,” Peter says, tears straining the sound coming out of his vocal chords, “yeah it's me Har.”

“Am I dead?”

“No,” Peter laughs wetly, “but honestly, it was pretty touch and go for a while.”

“What- happened?” 

“It's a long story.”

"I think Osborn’s luring us.” Wade sighs. “Why would he do that?” Eddie asks. Deadpool laughs humorlessly. “Well I don't think he’s doing it out of the kindness of his heart.” “Meaning,” Eddie sighs, understanding too clearly now, “Pete's either dead, or pretty damn close. Fuck.” “Yeah,” Wade says, tight lipped with his own disapproval.  And then, as if today couldn't get any stranger, an orange and red, octagonal shaped, portal? opens up beside the three of them, and some random, middle aged brunette with the brightest blue eyes Eddie’s ever seen steps out and waves to them like they are old friends.  “Uh, hi? Who are you?” Eddie asks at the same time Venom appears beside him in all his 12 foot glory, growling threateningly.  “Stay right where you are,” V orders and the new arrivals hands go up in surrender.  Eddie can feel something equal parts wrong and familiar about the man, but V won't let him in on the secret. Luckily the man is talking again.  “Hi, sorry, to uh, barge in like this. But I’m Peter, uh Parker. Well, not yours, obviously. I’m from a different universe. I uh, I think you guys need me. Or more accurately, something I have.” Eddie is still trying to keep up with the newest sequence of events where as Wade tosses his hands up in frustrated exasperation.  “Oh Jesus Christ Ash! Can we cool it with the crossovers? Who do you think you are, Disney?” The blue-eyed Peter looks around to try and find the person Deadpool made the comment to but there isn't anyone else here. They are on top of a Wells Fargo building. “Who is he talking to?” Peter 2 asks VE at the same time the symbioted pair says,  “Don’t ask.”
