A tasty and savory quiche made with the perfect mix of Gruyere cheese and spinach, baked to perfection in a flaky pie crust.
Ingredients: 1 pie crust. 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped. 1 cup Gruyere cheese, shredded. 4 large eggs. 1 cup milk. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon olive oil.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Heat olive oil in a pan and saut the chopped spinach until wilted. Set aside. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, nutmeg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and spread the sauted spinach evenly on the crust. Sprinkle the shredded Gruyere cheese over the spinach. Pour the egg mixture over the spinach and cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the quiche is set and lightly golden brown on top. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
