Some angst I've been having on the brain; particularly for the characters that dont age/live for a long time + adding a new character to the base list!!

Slenderman;
Considering the fact that he's an ancient creature that's existed for lord knows how long, it was inevitable that he would outlive you
The concept of you one day being gone was something he already thought about before pursuing you romantically
I feel like out of all the ones on this list, he's the most calm about it, he isn't obviously broken up about the loss
That's not to say he doesn't care; he does. You were very likely his first love; and you will likely be his only love. It'd be a different story if your life was snatched away by someone else; but if it were something natural like for these scenarios, he grieves quietly. In fact, deaths in his woods temporarily slow down during this period
He has a designated area in the woods dedicated to you; flowers, pretty rocks, mementos, etcetera
He does 'guard' over your old home, for a while. That's likely the most drastic thing he'd do; he can't bare the idea of someone taking your place when the wound is still so fresh
Splendorman;
How ironic to add in this new character; someone so bubbly and sweet, with a prompt so... sad..
He doesn't handle it as smoothly as slenderman does; he's an absolute wreck. You were his absolute favorite person in the whole wide world, and just like that, you were gone
Is visibly wilted for a long time after your passing; only really putting on his usual happy face when he's needed
He cries, loudly, and he almost looks lost as he sits; almost as if he's awaiting your return
He understands mortality and the concept of death, but he never prepared himself for this
How could loving someone hurt so bad?
He talks about you to everyone who'll listen; both so he doesn't ever forget you, and so others can hear how amazing he thought you were
I like to think that when you were alive he gave you flowers... daisies, probably... he always keeps a daisy on him; either pinned to his coat or hat
Laughing Jack;

Denial. It will take him so so so long to finally come to terms that you'll never be coming back
He sprials; at first selfishly believing that you had purposefully abandoned him.. and given his past with being forgotten; he first responds with rage... before fully caving in on himself
Rumors are spread in town that your old house is haunted; thanks to Jack's howling cries
Hoards a lot of your belongings
It takes him a while to recover; and he's more irritable after all is said and done
Eyeless Jack;
This one's gonna hurt; because Jack is already gloomy and reclusive as is
Unlike the others, he's mortal; however he ages on a slower rate
So while he retained his youth he saw you change
After you're gone, he just
Sits in his cabin for a few days
He doesn't really leave unless his monstrous hunger gnaws away at him enough to prompt him to go into one of his feral episodes
I feel like he'd be similar to slenderman; in terms of the fact he will likely never love again

Odd, for him to return to his lonely life, the one he had before you stumbled into his life
Some days he found himself wishing to relive the day he met you; or to wake up one day in your arms

Jeff and flattery don’t really mix, he’s not all too big on compliments as a whole. While he’s not always an asshole about them, most of the time he is. I’d guarantee he’d laugh in your face about it before pushing you out of his way to go on his not-so-merry little way.
Homicidal Liu
“Handsome?.. Oh.. I’m not so sure thats.. true. But- but regardless. Thank you.. for the kind words.”
Liu makes it a point to avoid looking at his face. Often times thats a point of self consciousness for him, so while he may appreciate the words you’ve said. He may be more uncomfortable because you’ve seen it first place. I’d imagine he’d pull his scarf up, and nod before walking around you.
Nina the Killer
“Oh? Handsome’s sure a new one but I’m for it! Teehee, thank you..”
Bubbly bubbly bubbly. Nina’s all for compliments of different types as long as they aren’t, ya know, weird! She’s bound give her signature sweet but purely friendly smile before heading off into another direction. Whether or not she truly takes in what you’ve said to her however, is a mystery.
Jane the Killer
“Dont talk to me.”
She’s not to keen on compliments from others either. She probably scowled under her mask and pushed past you. Handsome isn’t the choice of words for Jane. Her and Liu sit in the same boat about appearance, but Jane however is much more defensive about it.
BEN Drowned
“PFFSH GEHEH, ew.”
Ben’s not interested in talking to you right now, but if you stuck around while he played with his DS, you’d hear him cackling about it every few minutes. Sure there’s a rare occasion, if you catch Ben on a serious day here he might take it in a good way. But, Ben’s more likely to brush it off and tease you about it than thank you.
Lost Silver

Silver doesn’t speak much. But I’d imagine he’d appreciate it if he wasn’t so cold.
Laughing Jack
“Ehehe. You think so? Too bad I can’t say the same about yourself. HAHAH.”
If there’s one thing Jack doesn’t give diddly squat about, its his appearance. But when it comes to compliments, its a quick way to butter him up and get on his “good” side. You’d probably get a pat on the back while he slinks off into the distance. But don’t think you’re so lucky. If you had a wallet, you sure don’t now.
Jason the Toymaker
“Hm. . . Heh, peculiar but well appreciated.”
Depending on how Jason sees you, he may feel a particular draw towards you. But not for why you think. If I were you, I wouldn’t be too keen on receiving or giving him attention. If you aren’t careful, you’re bound to end up being the next doll in his shop.
Eyeless Jack

Also not a talker! He might lean towards you and sniff you. And probably attempt to dismember you but that’s a separate issue!
Its busy taking a mental note of this moment. The Slenderman is curious about events such as this. Like, how you got into his house for example! I’d imagine you’re about to get the headache of a life time from him trying to understand what compelled you to say that.
The Splendorman

Also enjoys compliments a lot! Splendy is bound to be the kindest encounter you’ll have! He’s most likely to hand you a daisy and wish you good health and safety on your way!

He’s a confident soul with a creative streak but always appreciates such kind words! Perhaps if he ever sees you again he’ll do what he can to return the favor.

He tries to get you out of your shell! He might be a little overwhelming, what with him trying to push you before you're ready.. but he means well! It's best to talk to him to set hard boundaries early. Even if you dont say it, he'll quickly notice somethings wrong. Very apologetic too.
It's not that he wants you to change, he just wants you to be more confident in yourself and find your voice, you know?
He LOOOOVES when you get a little flushed in the face, he thinks its adorable. Hes going to make it known that he thinks you're adorable. Loves peppering your face in kisses. Gently pulls your hands away from your face when you hide it. Very cute very sweet
Your quietness compliments his loudness; though I wouldn't exactly call splendor loud.. rather.. hmm

You help him take in smaller things and slow down, and he helps you project yourself just a little more

To be fair, I'm still fleshing out how I want to interpret Splendor, and how I want to write him into my au
Obviously he's going to be related to Slenderman; as well as Trenderman (whether or not I add trender to this blog isnt decided yet, since I feel like not many people would be interested)
Most days he couldn't hurt a fly even if he wanted to.. however on the off chance he does need to fight/defend himself; he will
He can be just as, if not more, devasting than his brother
"The devil shivers when a nice guy loses his temper" except its splendorman and he actually is a nice person with a rare but hot temper
Usually his ugly side doesn't show itself unless someone tries to hurt those who are innocent
Perfect segway into the concept idea I have for him in general/in the au; but I like to think of him as a guardian
Now I may be getting silly, since he reminds me a bit of itward from fran bow; but I wanna use itwards whole imaginary friend/whimsical being as a basis for splendor
Also this is propaganda for fran bow; go play it, it's a nice game and it's been a hyperfixiation of mine since it released

But for splendor, rather than solely appearing to children, he appears to all

Similar height to slenderman; about 11-12 feet by default but he can also shift his height around for intimidation/convenience
Going with the hc that he has bells on his tentacles; you can hear him walking around/j
Said bells are also semi sentient; they still bend to his will most the time but sometimes they can snip at people... lil bites n stuff; like you know how bells usually have those lil.. gaps? In them? Idk what they're called but the X shaped things on them; that's the "mouth" for each bell
Actually unlike slenderman, you can actually see splendorman walk around, whereas slenderman just. You blink and he's moved.
Gives the absolute best hugs; also does the thing LJ does, and snakes his arms all up around you
Adding onto the idea that splendor is basically itward/scp 999, he basically shows up for people who need company, or need their spirits raised
Torn between giving him an actual face, or making it a blank face line slenderman where the smiley face is just markings; if he does have a face I'm also torn on whether to give him a perma smile or not

I like both ideas
Has clown/magician logic. Can pull next to anything out of his hat and/or suit sleeves/pockets

He calls you: sweetheart, sunshine, my dear, sunflower, schnookums and similar dumb lil names! I feel like those would be more teasing/joking
He wants to be called: he has no preference, as long as the term is endearing and meant for him, hes happy
Downtime;
Off days with Splendorman usually are filled with fun and activities
If you want to spend time outside, he will pull something together. Gardening, picnics, stuff like that! Unfortunately, since hes still considered... a monster, he needs to remain out of sight, so walking out in broad daylight is a no go for him, unless the area is isolated - so that does make things a little limited in terms of time and location :(
But if you want to spend time indoors, he's more than happy to stay!
Baking, arts and crafts, ect ect! If it's something fun that at least two people can do together, its an option!
I feel like he would have lots of fun reenacting things with you; like dramatic retellings of your favorite books or movies or whatever
He gives a passionate performance
Ideal Partner;
Like most the other characters in the other post I made on thing, he doesn't have many preferences when it comes to partners: both in regards to personality and looks
Looks really mean nothing to him, you could be tall or short, fat or skinny or buff, guy or gal or anything else, and he wouldn't care so long as you're you
Personality? As long as you aren't a bully or otherwise cruel, he can love you with his whole being
That's really it, Splendorman isn't very picky
Just don't be a jerk and you're set
Though he will be thrilled if you share the same energy as him; though it's not required
Perfect date;
I covered a lot of things in the downtime section, so this spot isn't going to be too long, as to avoid me just repeating the same thing reworded
But this dude has a list of ideas as long as he is tall; he is not picky!
He doesn't really have a "perfect" or "ideal" date, as he's down for anything and everything
Well almost
Anything that puts ANYONE in danger in an immediate and hard no, same goes for if it puts anyone in emotional or physical distress
Otherwise anything else is possible! He's free to let you pick and take the lead; however he'll hardly mask his excitement if you tease the idea of doing something he very much enjoys/wants to do
It's kinda like watching a dog get excited after mentioning a treat or a walk
Romantic hcs;
Writing this first before I have the chance to forget: but when hes about to leave, he'll kiss you.... and when he turns around to leave, he'll let the lil bell monster things on his tentacles kiss you all over the face as a extra bit of affection
Now onto how I wanted this segment to start
S tier partner, out of the (creepypasta) characters that I have written for thus far, at least in my opinion
Great listener and willing to give advice, amazing comforter, and generally adds an air of excitement to life while also keeping things stable
Moving on
He gives the best hugs, as mentioned in the segment above, his can snake his arms around you in a similar fashion that LJ does
Speaking of that segment, depending on how you see his face working kisses can go multiple ways
If he does have a face, kisses go as expected; but if he has a perma smile it can get awkward since his face is constantly pulled into that large grin
But if its the "the smiley face is a group of markings" route, he can't really... kiss you.. at least not in the traditional sense
He'd approach it the same way slenderman does and imitates the act by gently nuzzling/knocking his lower face against you
He loves quick little pecks; on the cheek, forehead, and mouth, nose, loves it all
Always gives you flowers; usually defaults to sunflowers and daisies but if you have any particular favorites he'll provide it
Likes using that hat trick of his to present gifts
Just
Takes off his hat, puts his hand in it, and BOOM ! He pulls out a bouquet of flowers for you
If you get sick he'll be a mother hen and fret over you; won't back off until you're back at full health, and even then he'll hover over you for a few days afterwards just in case
He always let's you know how much he loves you; he'll remind you at least once a day

The only man with the patience to get glitter out of a dyer after a freak glitter-bag-was-left-in-his-pants-pocket mishap.
Doesnt sleep! Ever!
He also doesn’t need to eat, but eats for the enjoyment of it and quality time with others!
His favorite color is all of them, he feels bad leaving some out.
His favorite teas range but chamomile, chai, darjeeling are his top three!
His favorite food is butternut squash soup (but he won’t ever admit it.)
His favorite deserts are chocolate cake and rice pudding.
Not a big fan of cheeses or meats. He tries not to eat anything that was once breathing. But he’s just iffy about cheese.
Has a rotation chart for his stuffed animals and which he hasn’t spent time with yet. He tries to do group activities with them, but one of one is important too.
His alias is “Felix” !
Has the ability to change other’s perceptions. He doesn’t like to use this ability, but he will to call less attention to himself in public. Splendy often choices to hold a human appearance.
Splendorman uses his human “appearance” mainly when going to hospitals, orphanages, or schools to volunteer!
Everything. Has. A. Personality. Its a habit he’s picked up from working with children, but he tends to sympathize and personify a lot of items.
Playing songs, dancing, reading stories, supervising and helping teach are just a few of the responsibilities he takes on!
His instrument of choice is probably the harpsichord, but he also really enjoys the kalimba as well. Both have a sweet lullaby sound to him.
Splendy can play other instruments such the piano, xylophone, and tambourine. He’d like to try and learn how to play string instruments again but in his own stride.
A lot of what he does, doesn’t just stop with assisting kids either. Sometimes he’ll reach a hand out to parents and guardians as well to educate and help lead them through tough situations.
Mental health is very important for his species, so he has a lot of activities he participates in to decompress or enjoy himself.
Gardening especially is an activity he finds cathartic and helps him gather his thoughts.
Owns a gardening apron made for him by Trenderman! Its one of his favorite items.
His garden is full of plants that can be used to feed people who need it, or used as herbal remedies of sorts. For example: lavender, he’ll use it to make tea to help others sleep.
Daisies are his favorites
He constantly has daisies on him, they seem to stay fresh when on his person. Because of this he hands them out to loft spirits.
Recycling is important to him! He tries to use everything to the best of his ability.
Because respecting and protecting lofe is so important to him, he often finds himself using things he’s cultivated personally in the foods/crafts he makes. (yes this means he has chickens)
“Thank you for providing such wonderful flowers this season, and thank you for growing.”
A letter writer. He often ends his letters of with something along the lines of “Sincerely, Splendor! ☆” there’s always a star.
Pretty educated! In trying to properly assimilate into human culture he’s done an awful lot of reading to be as verse and literate as he can. Its a lot more helpful that it seems!
Probably shouldn’t play guessing games with him, he’s exceptionally sharp.
And no he’s not cheating, he’s just got a really good imagination.
Despite being rather organized and thoughtful, this doesn’t stop him from being a bit careless time to time.
You’d think he was on auto pilot with the amount of times he’s tripped on absolutely nothing.
“Trender: *holds an item out*” “Splendor: *holds :D*” dynamic.
“Trender: I need-“ “Splendor: *holding it out :D*” dynamic part two.
Wakes up every day to put those bells on the ends of his tendrils.
His bells aren’t the only way he can eminent a “soothing energy” to others, in fact he doesn’t need them, but he finds its a lot less invasive, and easier to use a harmonious sound.
Splendorman and Slenderman, are twins.
Despite being twins, the two rarely have contact.
In fact Splendorman has very little contact with family in general. The only exception to this being Trenderman, whom he spends a great deal of time with!
As much as it sometimes saddens Splendy that his twin brother would prefer for him not to be around, he finds comfort in the fact he gets to see family that’s much less toxic towards him.
Despite not being human, he enjoys human holidays! He thinks its a great excuse way to give more than he usually would.
Splendy also recognizes that Trender at some point w a s human, and these holidays often help him retain a feeling of “normalcy” in his new state.
Doesn’t like being around the other pasta’s much either because of their violent habits.
The only exception so far being Dina, Liu, and Sally. Even then there’s a slight discomfort.
Actively trying to find a way to help Sally. Splendorman respects his brother but there’s a anxiety and distrust about allowing Sally to stay with him. He worries about her quite a bit.
Splendorman also desires to help Janet. He’s not sure what he could do for her as she’s expressed a hesitance and general distrust with his presence. He won’t push her, but if she ever wants help he’s there to reach out a hand.
Despite his friendly and bouncy nature, Splendorman isn’t naive in any sense, nor is he inconsiderate or willfully ignorant. He’s a very cheerful person but its taken some work to get there! He recognizes that expressing sadness or anger in a healthy is just as important being happy.
A great memory, even if he’s only met you once for half a second, he’ll be able to recall you with ease.
This includes boundaries! Splendorman does his best to make others comfortable, so he does his best to pay attention to others discomfort and requests.
Addresses people formally, in fact a lot of his speak is warm and formal! But he tends to choose friendlier speech when others have expressed closeness towards him.
Just wants to help ! ☆
