I'm so glad show Benedict Bridgerton is a more decent human than book Benedict

Ink Girls was a delightful graphic novel, I loved the colouring so much as well!!! And printing presses hold a special place in my heart.

Plain Jane and the Mermaid was so much fun!!! Hadn't expected it to be a laugh-out-loud read for me

I fiiiiiinally read Frankenstein, I loved it! I get why it doesn't hold up to some people's expectations, but as a philosophical gothic horror I really enjoyed it

I'm surprised the author Zohra Nabi is so unknown on Tumblr!!! Deep Dark is an atmospheric middle-grade mystery about a British-Indian girl investigating the disappearances of children who're seemingly being snatched away from Victorian London streets. (Read this person's review for more information, they can put it into words a lot better than I can atm).

Paaz is a Dutch novel whose film adaptation is currently in the cinema. It's about a woman who's suddenly admitted to a psych ward of a general hospital after her chronic depression gets out of hand. It's quite a serious but sometimes lighthearted novel about mental health, depression and suicidal ideation.

Bull Moon Rising: come for the minotaur porn, stay for the plot. A nobleman's daughter who decides to hunt for precious artifacts but needs a marriage of convenience to do so.

All round badass from a criminally underrated series. Saved the world at least 11 times before 18, becoming heavily traumatised in the process. the horrors persisted but so did she.

Shes been orphaned and ran away to the circus, as such she became very good with her hands. She is the mechanical genius of her group, allowing them to get out of scrapes the other's are unprepared for. Also obsessed with the red bucket she just carries around with her tools and such in it (flashlight, swiss army knife, marbles...) as opposed to something more typical like a purse, deep pockets (jk shes a girl), or a backpack.

She carries a bucket around and holds cool stuff in it, including but not limited to, a spyglass disguised as a bad kaliedoscope, a slingshot, and marbles :3

She's so angry all the time and honestly I can't blame her everything around her sucks
