I will never be over the Snow Ball scene, every single thing about it is just so pure and when you think it can’t get any better it somehow does and it is the purest scene to have ever existed fight me

Ok so last night I was watching the mileven reunion for the umpteenth time and I just have so many feelings and I need to talk about them

So as I was watching and Mike tells her that he called her “every night- every night! For—“ he’s deliriously happy and it’s all over his face. Not only is she back and here and in his arms, he wasn’t crazy. This whole time he wasn’t crazy even though a darker part of himself thought he probably was. But he was right. He knew she was out there and now here she is.

Then Eleven forestalls him “—353 days” and she’s so happy too, the way she says the words, on her breathless exhale, she sounds exhausted like she just ran a marathon which she might as well have. But she made it and she’s home and with Mike but all is not right with the world.

Because when she says this, Mike’s face VISIBLY FALLS and he does that tiny gasp like he can’t believe what he just heard. And the way El’s tone changes when she says “I heard.” It’s full of pain and remorse. She heard. She heard it all. Every transmission. All his begging for her to come back to give him something, ANYTHING, just the tiniest sign that she was okay. She knew how much pain he was in and she wanted to reach out so much but she was powerless to do anything.

Yeah anyway so I’m completely wrecked.
