Star Trek is a life saver! It makes you learn so many things, you wouldn't know otherwise! For example, if I would ever come across a Klingon communicator, and at the same time there would happen to be a Klingon bird of pray within the transporter range, with the officer called Maltz, who'd be in charge of the transporter, and I would desperately want for some reason to be safely beamed aboard, - if not for Star trek, I wouldn't even know, what to say! Phew!: thanks god, that's sorted out now!

Oh my GOD I am watching the Search for Spock and Kirk refers to the Enterprise as a home which all of the children have left. Meaning he is an empty nester. He goes on to say Spock’s absence is like a gaping wound.

You might be aware that I’ve been having lots of fun watching Star Trek The Original Series. Naturally I progressed by watching the movies. The internet has made me aware of Kirk/Spock being considered one of the first (if not the first) slash ship. I never cared to develop an opinion on the matter, but now...
