So, here’s another character design I did for that No Hopers Challenge-thing. She’s a Spawn of Yog-Sothoth called Yogu-Chan who’s a stand in-for Shrek and her life is despair and sadness!

And yes, I deliberately chose the Dunwich Horror to base the Shrek expy on because; in a more sympathetic reading, you could totally combine those two narratives.

Do stand ins hook up with kpop fans?

Do idol stand ins hook up with kpop fans? My answer seems to lead to a no, for reasons such as immaturity, lack of communication,

I pulled the hanged man upright, page of pentacles reversed, 9 of cups reversed. When these cards come up it feels like the stand ins are either in a state of limbo, shock or have passed away / crossed over or perhaps they're at peace rather than having the struggle of hiding themselves from the industry. again the industry cant lie to a pisces moon. Y'all, the industry is dreadful for stand ins but spot on for an original idol to gain such opportunities.

With the hanged man upright told me everything I needed to know, a sudden halt in a stand ins activities not for personal gain but gain for the industry to do a quick swap around. I believe the show road to kingdom is a great example of idols being in one space allowed to use a stage name / hidden identity and because theres so many of them it goes largely unnoticed. In a way it could tie in with their personal relationships if they had any which would be rare and fare and few between, I think something off had to have occured during the filming of road to kingdom.

Maybe theres an avoidance with those who think they have an in the know personality among the kpop stans? Sasaengs might already be aware of who to avoid, that came up strongly as avoidance in case its not who they appear as rather than who they hook up with. Hmm interesting its probably one of my favourite cards and also came up in my future spouse reading. Lmk if you want me to delve deeper into what occured during road to kingdom because I'm definitely tapping into something worth reading on.

Page of pentacles in reversed sums up missed opportunities to a tee, or someone missing? Going AWOL? Showing up performing doing their bit then leaving the stage swiftly came to mind for this card, it seems perhaps stand ins are less bothered about relationships and connections to even other idols because theyre there to fulfill a role and maybe have such little time for nuances like relationships. Still interesting to me as it fits with the topic well enough, they're doing their bit but not for the fans. I think this card ties into the stand ins directly whereas the hanged man implies that its a one off situation. You aren't exactly doing it with fans connecting in mind.

Lastly I pulled 9 of cups reversed, this card solidified my idea of kpop using stand ins as a one off and thus it doesn't follow through onto their fan bases, in a way they're more interesting than the original idols imho, this card signifies disappointment and lack of contentment but perhaps in a non relationship way it might make them feel more content with what they achieved rather than actively using a role to seek out a hook up situation maybe that is their mentality going into it. Role first, relationship never? I do wonder if sometimes when other readers read on idols are they accidentally misinterpreting it because they read it for face value? X idol must never have dated but instead its the usage of stand ins?

Very interesting, it leads to nothing inconclusive is going on in terms of stand ins, which will lead me to my next question about original idols. Ha, cards cant lie either.
