I don’t know where to start so though i’d try tumblr,
are there any websites that compile ableism/fatphobia/eating disorder safe apps that would otherwise be useful for health?
I’m looking for something to help count my steps but most come with calories burned or motivation to do more when I’m looking to pace my activity to avoid injury and PEM - in the same way, I’m looking to log food and weight for IBS reasons not diet, I’d like to keep track of my sugars without assigning any score to food because it often means eating fats or larger amounts of carbs instead.
A quick search has made me want to stick to pen and paper. I don’t have an eating disorder unless you count the ADHD - forgetting to eat then having to compensate for hypoglycaemia - but I DO have a very low tolerance for being told what’s healthy or good when that absolutely does not apply.
Omg I just got a knockoff Fitbit (Letscom fitness tracker) and it's really accurate and I'm super happy!
The HR tracker is actually working seemingly accuratly too?? Which I'm super excited about bc it will track my HR throughout the day and give me an adverage and a full report I can see in the app. Then I can see if I need anxiety/BP meds for school days!
I'll update in a little bit to see if my review changes but I totally recommend getting one! It's only $30 on Amazon (as well as on the company site with free shipping if your order is over $50). You can message me for details on the precise one I got if you're interested. Compared to a $100-150-170 Fitbit, I'm thrilled I got this.
But yeah! It's super motivating to see how many steps you've taken, you get set personal step and sleep goals, and I'm happy with the HR tracker! Ok the days where I can't move that much I can still feel accomplished that I just got 2,000 or whatever steps instead of thinking of how I didn't even leave my house.
Got home. It’s almost 9pm^^ I am ready for my book and then sleep. Gonna go on a morning walk every day this week!!!
Very very happy that I walked more than 9000 steps today after a long time!! (My phone died when going back from my morning walk so definitely more than 9000) tomorrow study face on!!
Who the hell steals a fitbit account?!?!?
I mean, I know who since fitbit gave me the "new email" on my account.
But what's the damn point?
Enjoy my history of really low steps with my joint issues and my basically unhealthy sleep history.
Food Log 4/17/19
Breakfast: Didn't have any. I was tired and honestly didn't get out of bed until about 20 minutes before I had to leave for work
Lunch: 2 chicken gyros from the slow cooker recipe we made last night
Dinner: Burger and fries from Lexie's. Surprisingly enough it didn't put me over on calories!
Snack: Apple
I didn't do my blogilates today. I'm still tired. My fiancé and I went on a walk around town today after dinner. I'm gonna hit 14,000 steps for the day before bed. Tomorrow I'll do today's blogilates workouts in the morning, and tomorrow's in the evening. Close enough 😂
Today's steps Pretty damn good. Did an hour and 15 min hot yoga class as well. Barely moved at all this weekend. This was a good Monday.
1/1/16 I’ve decided to wear my Fitbit more regularly to make sure I’m getting in my steps. Found my Fitbit, charged it up and left it on my nightstand for the morning…. ½/16 My dog stole it and hid. Even though I chased after her and got it back, she had my Fitbit just long enough to kill it.
There goes that resolution.
