Some helpful tips I learned in therapy. These are usually easier said then done. These help a lot, and deal mostly with overthinking. P.s. Every feeling you have is not true. If you feel that everyone hates you that feeling is not true. Ignore it that's a lie your illness is feeding you. If you have negative thoughts you need to ease up on your self, and change them. If someone has called you sensitive in a negative light, and you feel it's bad to be sensitive your wrong. Turn your negatives in to positives. Yes, you're sensitive. But in a world that's harsh isn't it great that someone actually cares. Sincerely, Rebecca S.
So this is something we thought would be cool to do. Music is a very big part of our lives (well, at least we believe so) and helps us get through some tough times. Of course, everyone has a different taste in music, whether it be rock, pop, country, rap, or any other music genre out there, but these are a few of our favorite songs that keep us going. This playlist mainly consists of alternative rock, American and Korean pop music, and some others. If you ever feel down and need something to pick you back up, we recommend this playlist. We would appreciate it if you gave it a try. We understand that everyone likes different genres, but why not try something new? We hope you enjoy it. Thanks!
Day of Action: NAMI
Hey Tumblr, in honor of Mental Health Month and Post it Forward (@postitforward), we’re declaring today as a Day of Action to support NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (@namiorg), because we believe that everyone is entitled to mental health care and support.
What’s NAMI?
NAMI is the largest grassroots mental health organization in the US. On behalf of the millions of people who are affected by mental illness every day, NAMI is dedicated to increasing awareness and resources for mental health conditions, combating the social stigma that surrounds mental illness, and advocating for better and equal health care for anyone seeking mental health treatment.
How can I support?
For Tumblr’s Day of Action, we’re encouraging the community to take the NAMI StigmaFree Pledge. By signing the pledge, you’re showing that you wish to fight the stigma that surrounds mental illness and demonstrating your support for all who are affected.
And, if you have the means, you can donate $5 or more to Tumblr’s Crowdrise fundraiser to support NAMI and help build a national network of accessible mental health support and resources for all.
While 1 in 5 people will experience a mental health condition at some point in their lifetime, we’re all likely impacted by mental illness—by friends, family members, or people in our community. Together, we can encourage acceptance, understanding, and support for mental health, and ensure that no one is alone on their mental health journey.

This shift in perspective has enabled many to seek psychological support they previously might have shunned.
The world has changed drastically, and with these changes, we’ve seen an unfortunate rise in mental health concerns, especially depression. Understanding this condition is more important now than ever, as it’s not merely about feeling sad. Depression is a complex disorder that can affect every aspect of one’s life.
You can help cure stigma through compassion, empathy, and understanding. Visit www.nami.org to take the stigma free pledge and gain a better understanding of mental health illness. Help is available, if you or someone you know may be struggling with substance abuse and mental health visit www.asac.us.
