Um, I’m new to all of this, but the other students were making blogs, so… Hi? My name is… Well, I don’t really have one. Some people just call me Tiefling. I use he/him pronouns… I think.

I’m a half-siren? I never had magic until I came here, though, which was kind of weird. That’s ok. I’m used to weird.

Oh! This is my dragon, Grimsnatch! Apparently I’m supposed to raise him to help fight the corruption… but I kind of just want to raise him because he’s cute. Be warned, he bites strangers. He’ll make a good protector from…

…I see ghosts sometimes… That’s ok though, I just try to ignore them…

This is Tiefling! His birth name is Scathe, but he doesn’t know that. If you want to give him a different nickname, PLEASE DO. He’s collecting them :D

As mentioned, he’s a half human, half siren hybrid. He has gills, head fins, and one horn (the other was broken off and never regrew). He has siren / singing magic, though he’s always been a bit shy about singing. His dragon is black and speckled with pale blue spots, and is named Grimsnatch.

Tiefling is pyrophobic and an insomniac. He hallucinates sometimes, and often believes his hallucinations to be ghosts. Most of the time, he ignores his hallucinations, so most people don’t realize he has them.

His favorite food is salmon. He’s very cuddly when he’s actually tired.

His magic awakened after fleeing some city guards and diving into the river.

Because Mage has (selective mostly) mutism, her vocal cords never developed fully, there are 3 ways his dialoge works:

("Hello") <This is when he writes in his notebook

"Hello" <This is when she talks, the highest volume is loud whispering. Any louder and she'd hurt himself, maybe even cough blood

<Hello> <This is signing, right now it's only thank you, they will be able to sign more later on

Voice claim! (Note thay the voice is maximum a loud whisper): still need to find a fitting one

Some info about their limp:

She has best, good, normal, bad and worse days. On good and better days she doesn't use his cane, but it's always with her. On normal days, he can be seen wandering around with her cane. On bad days they don't wander as much, but can still be seen. And on worse days he usually stays in her room, resting.

She has lightning magic.

Spell 1: Lightning bullets

She can weave a string of lightning through their finger and shoot the lightning at his enemies like bullets

Spell 2: Thunderstorm

Call upon a thunderstorm where their magic is stronger

Spell 3: Lightning vines

Can use strings of lightning like vines

Spell 4: Shocking

When she touches someone they get a heavy shock

A ball of lightning that deals great damage

This is Mage Thunder. She's mute, selective mostly, so she talks through a notebook as she never learned signlanguage, thank you is the only sign he knows. Her parents didn't want him leaving so they with held their invitation.

He has lighting magic, her dragon is named Wattson and he's bright yellow with blue lightning like stripes on his body. Wattson's personality is chaotic but sweet, he likes giving Mage little gifts like a cat would do.

Mage is the same, chaotic, but sweet and likes giving people small gifts instead of talking. That's how you know she likes 'talking' to you. He also has a limp from an old leg injury so they use a cane to get around better. The only reason she doesn't get in trouble is because they can't run away.

Lore:

When Mage was 5 years old some people desided to trow some rocks from the cliff she lived. Mage was playing in the garden that day, two of those rocks fell on him, Shattering the bones in their leg, causing his limp and giving her shoulder a scar. His shoulder somehow didn't shatter. Now she has cremnophobia.

This incident caused his father to get overprotective. Mage barely left the house, even while loving the outside. Those 14 years inside caused her immune system to tank for rain, which is difficult when one of your spell summons a thunderstorm. When the invite for the Academy came, Her father wanted to trow it away, but his mother didn't allow it and gave the invite to Mage when their father thought she couldn't go anymore.

Their vocal courds never developed fully, so her voice is always a loud whisper. If he goes any louder she coughs and if they keep going she coughs blood.
