My stormlight ttrpg group :] and the animals we have stolen
This is one of my favorite sections of the Stormlight World guide.
I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure The Lopen was never mentioned to have a sparkflicker, and that makes since lol.
Shallan: Okay, roll to hit.
Kaladin: Shallan, when have I ever rolled to hit anything? If I want to hit something, I hit it. Simple as.
Shallan: Okay. YOU might hit everything on your first try, but does Brightlord McChull Face hit everything on HIS first try?
Adolin: Brightlord McChull Face? Kaladin is that the best you co- Hey! Why does he look like me?!
Kaladin: Don't blame me, Syl's the one who made my sheet.
*rolls*
Renarin, what number is this?
Renarin: That's 4 -_- honestly Kal it's a little hurtful you couldn't put the time in to make your own sheet.
Kaladin: I can't storming read, Renarin.
Adolin: Yeah, Renarin, it's the Stormlight Archive™️
Shallan: A 4 does not hit.
Not shipping characters from canon, not shipping fan ocs, but a new secret third thing: shipping the unnamed (?) characters from the Stormlight World Guidebook
This is my Knight Radiant and Stormlight Archive oc/ttrpg character; Ilmari Dyril!
He's a noble from Iri (whose main residents are actually not originally from the planet that stormlight archive takes place, they're a travelling people who go to different planets to get new experiences and their religion believes that once their journey is complete they will reunite as One and so their culture is very much about making new experiences and innovating and stuff). Ilmari is the youngest of three children with a bit of an age gap between him and his closest sibling.
His sister is a pretty accomplished member of the military and his brother is going more into politics, this left Ilmari with nothing he really needed to *do* as a noble. After having some schooling in politics and stuff he found it too stuffy and decided to enter the military. He enjoyed this much more because he felt like it was more immediately applicable and after training he and his squad went around the country protecting villages and stuff.
However, eventually his squad got called to go help invade Rira (neighboring country). Ilmari did not want to fight people just living their life. So he lied to his superiors and said he felt "the call" to go out and experience stuff. After talking with the religious folks around they dismissed him and he's gone on a walking journey across the continent (for the past 5 years) trying to learn more swordplay along the way.
Since then Ilmari has met Kesrin, a member of the listener people, learned about slavery and hates it (but is scared of reprocutions to do something about it) and joined a party that's helping the stone shaman Taszo-son-clutio. He's gained the attention of a Lightspren and is close to speaking The Words. He's just started his journey and has much to learn about true freedom.

I am having the best time of my damn life with the Stormlight TTRPG rn. Got 4 players, 3 of which have started to make characters, and I'm deeply obsessed with their choices and the ways I can bind them into the World at large.
We will be playing the stonewalker campaign, with some changes due to the character building adding to the World, and it's gonna be so freaking fun.
One of the players follows me here so not gonna go in depth about different character secrets, but I am foaming at the mouth at the ideas I have to explore their characters and the World with it.
None of my players know the Cosmere at all, beyond what I told them, and that just means I get to describe the menace of a figher in Shardblade and Plate, or the stories that can be told with an oathstone, or someone's friend becoming a Regal.
And my players will just have to grapple with it >:)
If anyone our there wants to hear more and isn't my Player, hit me up, I need to ramble about some of the insane shit that's already come up when prepping
I forgot this blog existed. I should mention I got the Stormlight RPG stuff, and the minis are really nice. I haven't really unpacked most of it.
I'm mostly waiting for the Mistborn part of it! That's all I really care about lol. For light day I got a bunch of pins (Elend, Marasi, and Shai) and a tote bag. I need to eventually collect every Mistborn related pin. Kelsier is not on the bag as I'm terrified of losing his pin. He's next to my computer where he belongs <3
It’s the eve of the stormlight ttrpg, so what are the odds that there’s another secret project?
I just find it very odd that Brotherwise hasn’t prerelease its tiers for the campaign. Usually kickstarters will do this so fans can save up money for the tier that they want. And the last time a Sanderson Kickstarter did this, it’s because there was Isles of Emberdark
Is there always another secret project?
Yes, BrandoSando is a madman
No, libra, stop being delulu
