nodding my head to show that i approve of all the shitty things this character has done because i'm a bad person
Rhythm of War au where everything's the same except Kaladin calls him "Lezian the Cuck"
Mistborn screen adaptation should license Ballroom Blitz for one of the fight scenes. They won't bc Sanderson fans are gonna be Like That about any choice involving actual adaptation as opposed to copying the books to the screen 1:1 but they should. They should.
El doodle in wiggly paint from today
no rosharan human ethnicity is exactly reflected by any one earth ethnicity, which means that even though the shin are closest to what we might label european or white, they aren't necessarily either. anyway this is why if i made a live action adaptation of the stormlight archive i would cast an arab guy to play szeth. just to make everyone mad

It’s my birthday today, and as for every normal artist best gift is repost their artworks! I would appreciate if you share my art and increase activity this blog with comments and likes ❤️
Right now I’m really into Stormlight fandom and I ADORE Renarin and Rlain, I draw mostly them! But I’m a big fan of every Cosmere character as well actually
I really would have loved to see Kal and Moash's interactions in WoR from other bridgemen's eyes. Because this stuff is hilarious. First Moash becomes weirdly insistent on getting into Captain's personal space while looking into his eyes and talking so passionately about something in a lowered tone that it occasionally even attracts stray spren. The whole taking him by the arm thing. Repeatedly asking Kaladin to go out with him to get drinks, and when he finally does go, snatching him away just after a few gulps from both sides with the most conspicuously vague reason ever. And when you start to think that this guy has the most obvious, most embarrassing and relatable — because hey, who wouldn't — one-sided crush on captain Kaladin-storming-Stormblessed, Kaladin turns around and in the most stupidly grand gesture of generosity gives him his Shards. Like Moash is the specialest guy in the entire Bridge Four. Is this what flirting looks like these days? They should get their shits together and like, commit to it already. They're not being subtle anyway. Good for them.
That one redditor when I find him and show him how much aid and comfort he indirectly provided to the traitor Moash for coming up with the phrase
Heavenly One
Leshwi for this little series I’m working on from time to time. Also wanted to share this playlist I listened to while painting….
Black Beauty 1877, Natalia Kleszczewska, 2024
Im sorry
New headcanon: if they don’t see each other for a long time (because of military campaigns, Jasnah’ assignments, etc.) Rlain become really greedy to touch and Renarin eventually realises he feels same way. They can’t even wait and just occupy random corridor before someone accidentally catch them
P.S. I want to post spicy content on Patreon (for free). Is someone interested?
I pull up my slide show. The first slide says “I do not want to financially support the Church of the Latter Day Saints in any way”. There are murmurs of agreement and approval from the room
Next slide. “Brandon Sanderson is a member of the LDS”. The muttering has changed tone
“It’s not a very big amount of money though.” Someone in the audience pipes up. “His cut is only a small fraction of the cost of the book, and then-“ my next slide shows an income breakdown, it is titled ‘a small fraction of $10,000,000 is still a big number’
I’m sweating. The following slides explain tithing rules. The vibe of the room has shifted. I start to doubt I’m getting out of here alive
#huh#i wonder how much of his success is due to the support of the mormon church#that's the sort of grassroots i fluence they'd be able to pull off#or just church leaders 'asking' people to buy his books till he becomes a bestseller#and well once you do that a few times money prints itself a bit
Actually this is a big part of why you see so many successful mormon authors! Not necessarily people being deliberately pressured to buy the books, I've never heard of that happening, but there's a big writing culture and it's generally easier for mormons to get published in the first place because of their accessible English university classes and their internal book distribution network giving many authors a leg up. It's worth noting that while I'm unaware of any deliberate attempts to game bestseller lists like these tags imply, simply being mormon authors helps sell books to other mormons, because mormons tend to be very wary about reading inappropriate content. A mormon picking out a book for themselves, or especially picking out a book for their children, will likely favour a book available through their mormon bookstore or a book written by a mormon in a bookshop, because they know that the material in the book will be appropriate and morally acceptable. (That or Disney, which is al,so apparently very popular among mormons.) Since mormons tend to have a strong reading and writing culture, this captive audience certainly isn't nothing.
More Mistborn :)
⚠️ Minor Spoilers! These are out of context and only loosely based off of things that happen in the books, but I figured they needed a warning still.

ERA 2:
Marasi, Wax, and Ranette. This is their ritual. This is something they do. They stand in the Field of Rebirth and lament that the Ascendant Warrior never held a gun. No one can convince me otherwise.
You can probably guess which gun Wax brings with him each time.
“You either die an Ascendant Warrior or live long enough to see yourself become a marketable Soonie Pup, Wax.”
