Thurs,1st feb | Feburay started with thunderstorms for me, and im not complaining. It feels so weird to make a post after more than a year. i have completely forgotten my ways, regardless im more than happy to be back on here!

I struggle with having the discipline i want so i hope this could somehow peer pressure me into pushing a bit more? Also i wanted to make a comeback on here lol

I prefer summer to be hotter than it usually is (where I live). It's raining every single day here and I don't feel summery at all😞. But at least it's better than the place I used to live before. It was literally a rainforest there every season😂

omg thank you sm, after seeing u recommend jhumpa lahiri many times, i decided to find some of her works and. her writing is amazing. i borrowed the namesake and interpreter of maladies, and whilst both were beautiful, i personally enjoyed the style of the namesake more, so all in all, thank u sm for ur recs, it's helped me find more south asian voices in literature 🌻

Ahhhh I'm so glad you like her! You know how we all have that one author who just gets us, for me it's jhumpa lahiri, her storytelling voice and writing style are literally flawless. Do read The Lowland, it's my all time favourite novel (although if you don't like it, don't tell me because I'll start crying)
