How I Think the Valar/Maia Will React to a P90
If unimpressed wasn’t already a common theme before it is now.
Him being a know it all has him unfazed by your interior existence. He merely raised a brow before continuing with his day. I mean it's not everyday one gets to meet the physical embodiment of elven death. So, maybe just be glad he was uninterested.
Was more concerned about your ears and overall health than anything else. Especially after watching the guns recoil he quickly comes to the conclusion that this has and will screw with your sleep cycle and dreams. Recommends you stop using the gun and offers to help fix your sleep pattern.
Just don’t use it for anything other than demonstration purposes. Firm and strict about you using the weapon at all. Either way he doesn’t like it very much similarly to Namo he simply raises one measly brow and continues with his day.
Was interested in the weapon and shocked by the amount of noise it made but is more interested in your ability to fight with a staff or sword. When told about jaffa staff weapons he became particularly more interested in that. Saying something about Mairon/Sauron liking the weapon if he was there. He does some research in finding ways of defending from such weapons just in case Sauron did get wind of the idea.
As Eonwe predicted, if and when Sauron gets wind of the idea of both P90s and staff weapons or zats. He is insanely curious and believes that he can replicate it and hopes to implement it against the elves. He does draw inspiration from the original design (if he can get his hands on it) but mostly wings it and uses the idea of the Two Trees generating light to help guide him in creating energy fueled weapons. Though since goblins tend to make the most destructive and cruel devices I think if given enough time, Sauron can totally figure out how to make his own version of these weapons. If Feanor can make three glowing sunlight gems then Sauron can create energy fueled weapons of mass destruction. Thankfully for the scenario and headcanons he doesn’t get to figure out and is defeated by the loss of the One Ring.
He loves the idea. Mass destruction and chaos paired with fire is his entire aesthetic. He did create fire breathing dragons for a reason you know. So he loves it. He just has to figure out how to make it though that's what he has Mairon for.
