there's a part of ff8 that lives rent free in my head

its the scene immediately after squall rescues rinoa from the side of the garden and they stop outside the entrance to G-Garden, and Rinoa is explaining that she has his ring.

And Squall stops, tilts his head, lifts his hand with his palm up, curling his fingers, and mentally thinks, (I'm going to kill him.)
