Doctors can be so annoying. Louie went to the neurologist today for a check up and he says "you know, unfortunately, people with epileptic conditions can be affected by sudden death." Yeah dude, we know. She's fucking 19. This is not news. You've been seeing her since she was like 10. We've been told this by not only you but plenty other doctors. "Uhhh you know she might just suddenly die at any second" thanks for reminding me. Half her classmates, her friends, have passed. We fucking know.

Nothing makes me feel more secure than being reminded by a specialist that if I'm not medicated properly I could just randomly die on the spot (sarcasm)

Been watching the Descendants movies and I think this is really good what they did here. For those who don’t know, Carlos DeVil was played by Cameron Boyce, who died of SUDEP sometime after filming Descendants 3. When they made Descendants: The Rise of Red, they didn’t recast Carlos, instead they had Carlos die between the movies, too. And this picture (captured by having both an iPhone and an iPad) shows that the characters still remember Carlos, just as Cameron Boyce’s castmates remember him.

I don’t want to spoil anything for those who have yet to see the movie but there is conversation around this picture that is important to the plot, and it’s really sweet. It reminds me of what they did with Doc Hudson in Cars 2 and 3, or what Sesame Street did with Mr. Hooper. Sometimes, re-casting a character whose actor or actress died is not right, and I am glad when those in charge realize that.
