Hear me out: Corbeau with sun imagery!
You might be thinking: “But he's goth! Shouldn't he be associated with the moon?” I know it's ironic but it's true!
Exhibit A:
Corbeau has kind of a duality to him when it comes to his personality, just like the Sun. He can be terrifying (he is a yakuza boss after all)
He can also be warm too (because he cares about Lumoise)!
Exhibit B:
In Japanese mythology and folklore, there’s this three-legged crow. I'm bringing this up because Corbeau’s name means crow across all translations. The three-legged crow is a solar symbol. Some say each of its three legs represent heaven, earth and humanity. Others say the legs represent ancient Kumano’s (熊野) three clans: Ui (宇井), Suzuki (鈴木), and Enomoto (榎本).

more sun coded characters who ARE sun coded in the traditional way where they’re all bubbly and warm and positive
EXCEPT.
here’s the catch.
they are alone.
Their warmth did not attract anyone to their side.
neither did their light.
at the end of the day, the sun is just another star.
it is not special.
Their light only tore at people’s eyes.
they were a disruption to the order of the creatures that dwell in the dark.
they are a sun in a world that hates light.
everybody tells them they need to calm down, they are too much.
the sun was never meant to walk so close to the earth.
it belongs in the cold darkness of space, far from everything and everyone.
the sun is alone.
