Saw a post that said a Sun Saturn square is the worst aspect someone could have in their chart, but I would argue that a Moon-Saturn square is way more challenging as it’s directly affecting one’s entire inner world. A Sun-Saturn square is difficult, but I’ve known for this aspect to manifest more outwards where people or situations place restrictions onto them and as a result, they can be rly hard on themselves, but with a Moon-Saturn square literally right from the start while the native was in their mother’s womb, restrictions completely out of their control were placed upon them. These folks constantly feel imprisoned by their thoughts and faced unstable emotional foundations right from the moment they were conceived, to when they were born, throughout their childhood and adolescence, and unfortunately sometimes throughout their adulthood if not addressed.
Sun/Moon: Most caring people ❤️. Tend to be more emotional and clingy (especially in water signs good grief).
Sun/Mercury: This is the "I'm akshually 🤓☝🏾" placement. Even if they are not what you'd consider a nerd they are the type to study about something they love and they love to ramble about it. "Negative" placements may have been told they are annoying for it though :(..
Sun/Venus: People often say this is a beauty placement which is true to some extent but can make someone very superficial and cares a lot about their looks. People with this placement can be pretty social (the sign and house matters of course) and charismatic. The other effects of this placement means talent and creativity. Squares can mean the same but can make one clumsy and a bit insecure. Like the type to not know how pretty they are. Opposition
Sun/Mars: Makes someone competitive, they have a lot of drive and motivation to get stuff done (bonus points if in an Earth sign). Attimes the competitive nature can translate to anger of not careful. Very hard workers and have a ton of confidence. They can be more "in your face) lol.
Sun/Jupiter: If you have this (especially conjunct Sun) I'm guessing you were the popular kid in school or just outgoing. This is a placement also seen in smart kids.
Sun/Saturn: Disciplined and more mature. People with a lot of Saturn May have been more "serious" as a kid and more "dull". (I know this because my middle school sister is Cap dominant and she is so serious it's kinda scary 😭). Other sides of this can make someone more "traditional" (unless they have some wacky Aquarius placements 💀).
Sun/Pluto: People tend to think of this placement as "ohh so scary and mysterious" which YES to a certain degree. I like to interpret this as someone who can be underestimated a lot ESPECIALLY if they look younger. Like they may not be taken seriously or have certain expectations so when they smash those expectations people may fear them and get intimidated by them
Mars is the bad boy/girl, running around being emotionally detached breaking hearts until they meet... the moon. The moon takes mars deeper, teaching them how deep and fulfilling a physical connection can be. As a result mars' soul is snatched, quite literally. Mars is in flames for the moon, chasing them to the end of the world, to get what they need: Moon's love, touch and intimacy. The moon on the other hand, want , crave and need mars on a very visceral & instinctual level. The moon want mars all the time and addicted to how mars makes them feel: wanted & desired. Once the moon is touched by mars, nothing else will satisfy the moon. Physical liason here is far away from meaningless or detached. This is the type of physical bonding that serves as an expression of their emotions. Their emotions run so deep and high there is no other way to express it rather than the passionate deep physical liaison. Mars wants to possess the moon and make them theirs, the moon want to own mars' heart. Both are equally down bad. If it ends, thel tension will continue to be at all times high.
'Give you what you want
'Cause your love is all I need
I'mma turn you on
With all the things I do
Girl, you're made for me
'Cause your love is all I need
And you gon' make that sound
From all the things we do'

Saturn-Sun
Saturn is the ice king/queen, but they BURN for the sun and hold back from expressing all those flames at the same time . The sun melts down the walls and defences of Saturn. The sun is obsessed with the vulnerable side that saturn shows to the sun, but hides from everyone else. The sun feels special and enamoured by this. This is the 'I hate everyone except you' aspect. Saturn is cold, grumpy, and serious until the sun shows up. The sun feels safe, peaceful and secure in the presence of saturn. The sun grows and expands beautifully with the help of saturn. The sun feels like they were destined, and fated to meet saturn, and this makes it hard for the sun to let go of saturn. Saturn is their home, rock and empire. When seperation occurs, the pessimistic and realistic nature of saturn makes them better at accepting such a loss, but saturn will find it hard to open to anyone else again. The sun will feel lost, ungrounded and will have harder time to let go, replaying all these times, when the icey serious saturn was all theirs. The sun is also aware how saturn bottles up their emotions, so they will try again and again to get them to open up again. Saturn is a binding planet, so the memory of each other will likely remain in each other's minds.
I believe, I believe there's love in you
Grid locked on the dusty avenues
Inside your heart, just afraid to go
I am more, I am more than innocent
But just take a chance and let me in
And I'll show you ways that you don't know
Don't complicate it,
Don't let the past dictate
Yeah, I have been patient, but slowly I'm losing faithSo please, I know you baby
I know you baby

archetypes, negative complexes and astrological positions (astrology & psychology)
(the shadow part of the aspect)
obs.: before anything, like everything in astrology, not all positions are manifested in the way that astrologers describe because everything depends on the native's will, whether in an active or indirect way. not every position or aspect will manifest in the same way in all people, not to mention that here i focus on the negative point of the aspect, but it still has its positive points, even if that is not its primary nature.
pic not mine
this negative complex is related to the father archetype.
the complexes are built based on the experiences that we have in our life. let's say they are nucleus of psychic energy that contain memories, emotions and ideas about things. we all have complexes. the difference is whether your complex on a given subject is positive or negative.
with regard to the father complex, the type of father you had / has says a lot about your paternal complex, saying whether it will be a negative or positive.
people develop negative father complexes because they didn’t get their father's approval. consequently, they have to deal with some effects that i’ll describe below.
but before describing the possible characteristics, i would like to mention that not every native will behave in the same way, and by this i mean that even if they are like that inside themselves, those who have less awareness and self-knowledge will adopt a defense mechanism to be closed and appear exactly the opposite way on the outside.
now, for men in particular, they can adopt a defense mechanism quite common in our society: to adapt to the stereotype of a macho, a manly and strong man. [even if inside they are more fragile than emotionally healthy people]. this is because men who are emotionally insecure adopt this stereotype as their persona so that they appear to be fulfilling the requirements expected of a man by the collective conscious (society). but, deep down, they have no control over their emotions and know very little about themselves.
having said that, let's look at the characteristics of the aspect [both for those who admit they are like this, and for those who try to hide it even from themselves]:
possible Sun/Saturn native characteristics and their effects:
-> you admired your father and wanted him to be proud of your achievements, but he only criticized you.
-> it created an idea that you are not enough
-> the development of a strong and solid ego was prevented from happening due to many criticisms received
-> it created an extremely defensive person
-> this created in the native a tendency to not believe that he is an ideal person to this world
-> low self-esteem
-> feelings of inadequacy
-> need to change everything in yourself to reach a standard, because naturally you don't see yourself fulfilling the ideal [father's ideal]
-> all you wanted was your father's love and attention, but he didn't give
-> inside you, you are very defensive and sensitive, but you want to create barriers and defense mechanisms to hide these sensitivity
-> you feel an inability to feel loved or desired, or even to want to give love (because you end up denying it: care and love, since you never received it the way you wanted to)
-> problems with abandonment (even with your father physically present)
-> lack of self-love
-> low self-esteem and low sense of self-worth
-> a critical attitude about yourself that comes from your father
-> an irrational lack of trust in people and in a loving relationship
-> poor communication skills
-> you can’t understand your partner's feelings
-> unexpressed anger towards your father is usually directed at someone else or even the world
-> you may want to invest too much in your appearance so that it demonstrates what you don't feel inside: confident, capable.
how to deal with it in a healthy way?
try your best to make your negative complex conscious, recognizing that you aren’t living at your best at one point in your life. you may be repressing feelings, emotions, and abilities because you believe you need to shut yourself off to defend yourself from criticism
deal with your repressed energies and feelings of inadequacy that have been silenced but not excluded from your mind.
don’t repress more and more feelings in order to reach an ideal that in the end nobody can achieve
identify with yourself, disconnect from the idea of needing a male figure to develop your identity
you aren’t weak or incompetent for not meeting your father's intense and critical expectations
be open to giving yourself the love you didn’t receive the way you wanted. and learn to forgive.
Difficult aspect. These people often grew up in an environment where self-expression was molded and conditioned to fit the requirements of the environment. There was often little support and appreciation for the individual or support/appreciation was entirely conditional upon living up to certain standards. This aspect brings misery at first, but it’s possible to turn this dynamic in favor of oneself. It’s possible to get out from underneath the pressure from the environment through skillful control & strategy. It’s possible to disarm the world. It’s possible to self-express without feeling inferior or superior. This is true mastery, the chains will come off eventually, or better yet, they begin to mean less and less to the individual.
