I think it’s great! I am admittedly picky about whose Thallen fics I read simply because of how fiercely protective I am of Iris, and I do admittedly prefer them in a Westhallen context, but Thallen is wonderful, I love them 🥰 both as Thallen, and as Savithawne/Saveddie (and I want to write more of the latter tbh, Savitar makes Barry’s various relationships sooo much more interesting).
I like them romantically/sexually, and as friends, hence why both squares are labeled!
They’re great! One of my OTPs of Cobra Kai 🥰 the show doesn’t give me a lot to work with, but they love and support each other, and that love is strong even after two kids…and even Daniel’s karate drama doesn’t drive her away. Can’t get any more in love than that, am I right 😂
There aren’t a lot of fics out there for/about them, so not too much to be picky about, but…the one I read where Amanda was related to Eric McGowen (from The Next Karate Kid) absolutely changed my life, that’s a hc for me now. Hey, she’s already canonically related to Jessica (from KK3), why not Eric (and therefore also Julie) too?
I also really really love these two as part of a Daniel/Johnny/Amanda OT3, and more people need to write fics for that ship 🔫
I have fics in my TBR for them that I still need to read 😅 but they’re so sweet!! Iris and Kara are canonically pretty good friends and admire each other—Kara names Iris as a journalistic inspiration to her, and Iris is in awe of her singing (and Kara helps Iris with the Dead Man’s Switch thing…a scene that SHOULD’VE BEEN KEPT IN THE SHOW UGHHH)
I mean. Come on 🥹🥰 girlfriends!! They have even more fodder than Snowest, which…is simultaneously depressing (given Caitlin and Iris are prominent characters on the same show) and also sweet (for Superwest 🥰). AND they’re similar to Clois in the superhero x citizen reporter way!
The “not in canon” square is just bc it’s a fanon ship 😅 and also bc Westallen is forever my Iris OTP. But…Superwestallen 👀
