Iris had never been more grateful for the big windows in her office than this morning. The sunrise was beautiful, and it made her feel a little less disgruntled from getting up so early. She'd wanted to work up a piece on the newest Team Flash endeavor—nothing more than a Rogue sighting, but she wanted to get it over with so she could spend her day helping the team.
Still blinking the remainder of sleep from her eyes as she sat her desk, she almost looked over the foreign object sitting next to her computer. She did a double take, then frowned. A vase of purple irises sat in a vase on her desk, along with a note. Iris rolled her eyes at the ironic play on her name and grabbed the note. It had no name on it, no words, just a simple heart.
Two suspects came to mind—her girlfriend, Caitlin, and her other girlfriend, Felicity. But Felicity was in Star City, and she would've told Iris if she was in town.
Iris grabbed her phone to text their group chat, attaching a photo of the flowers with a simple question mark. She didn't expect a response until later, most likely when Caitlin woke up, since Felicity stayed up late working with Team Arrow and slept in longer. Iris smiled a bit to herself, then refocused on her task.
This is the ONLY way that double wedding sits right with me ✋ and I like all the ships involved (except like…one, which I’m not opposed to but also not a big shipper of*), and they all have chemistry! They might as well be canon tbh, and to me they pretty much are. I haven’t read any fics about them yet, though I might go shopping around!
*the ship referred to here is Oliver/Iris! I love them, but mostly in a poly context
Snowlicity/Caitlicity:
They click so incredibly well 🥰 Felicity is one of the few women Caitlin easily befriends, which puts her in a very special and exclusive category. They have similar interests but dissimilar temperaments, which imo makes for a great ship!

What I hate more than anything while watching last night's episode is Iris and Felicity walking in just as Caitlin was about to purchase plane tickets to leave Central City. Does no one care to ask what is wrong with her and what they can do to help? Did Iris' bachelorette (let's be real, she'd cheat on Barry given the chance) party have to come before everyone else's needs? I feel like no one really cares about Caitlin, even she is having a hard time taking care of herself. Remember when Felicity and Caitlin used to be friends? What happened to that? The second Caitlin says she doesn't want to come they practically force her to go. I just hate the amount of disrespect the writers are giving to Caitlin and Danielle as an actress. It feels like Caitlin is pawn to force WA even more and this unbearable Iris x Caitlin "friendship" which came out of nowhere.
